Renaissance Boulder Flatiron Hotel

Our hotel stay was very pleasant

I reserved a room for 2 adults and 3 kids. The room I requested had 2 sofa beds plus 2 queen sized beds. We only had one sofa bed in the room which was disappointing but we made it work. There are only 4 sets of towels when the room serves 6 people. There weren’t enough for us.

Fantastic front desk and restaurant staff. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms are large and beds are comfortable though would be nice to be able to turn thermostat lower than 68. Breakfast was delicious with made to order omelets and pan fried eggs as well as bacon, sausages, good assortment of fresh cut fruit, yogurt, cereal and more. We would definitely stay here again.

Renovated, and good looking hotel. I got a suite and it's a spacious and pretty much everything is new. Good bed/linen. I'd give 5 stars if the hotel was run by right people. 1. When I stepped in, the room temp was 80+ hot. I checked the thermostat and nothing seemed wrong. The front said there is no other room to switch and someone will fix it. Good hotel staff would suggest to find a new room or have me wait at their bar/restaurant until it's done. No..I was watching and sweating their tech was trying to fix. He coudn't 2. I called again and asked for a manager and there is suddenly a room to switch but they had to check and would let me know. I waited and waited and nobody let me know. I called and find a room with a door open . No suggestion to send someone to move luggage or anything from their staff. I moved and went to get a new key. 3. Now that I settled in, I turned TV on..there is no so signal..I looked around to fix myslef and found there is no cable with TV...I called the front and someone had to show up with the cable. 4. Now that I was thinking I could really settle in but I got thirsty, I found the water in the refrigerator was warm. it wasn't working. Gosh, I grabbed the ice bucket and found there is none on the floor and there is no instruction showing where it is or front staff never told where during check in. I had to go to front desk to find out. They want to send in someone to fix the refrigerator at 11 PM. Normal person wouldn't every try that at 11PM and certainly good hotel staff won't ever do that. You would think room would be ready with A/C , TV at least. This hotel does not get a room ready. It does not appear they check the room a t all. before they say the room is ready. Their definition of the readiness would not be the same as normal people. 5. I have never heard of any staff saying sorry for trouble for anything till this point. . The only attitude I was that we would send in someone to fix...then what's the problem?..This is not something you would see in normal 4 star hotel. Motel 6 staff does better. 6. I asked for a comm breakfast and and they provided. I stepped in with my family. It was buffer with optional cooked order. The wait staff never came and I had to deliver the order myself so that they started cooking something. When I got the bill, it was maked for 4 people while there was only 3 people at the table. 7 They never smile. The entire staff in this hotel needs really training. perhaps you are not unlucky and could be lucky with this hotel without any issue. but you could be me...just be warned and lower your expectations. My experience with this hotel was worse than road side 2 star motels due to the lack of normal hotel staffs.

My family had stayed here for the IDT softball tournament. We stayed here for 8 day. The hotel had great service and cared for not only may family but every other family staying there. The hotel was right next to the park which was great because I didn't have to wake up so early. The best part was they had a special event for all of softball players staying there. They served and welcomed all softball families by serving a special breakfast.

Sadly this property need remodeling and better management. Dooe from AC was not closing making noice everyone it turned on and off.. dirty towel in shower from previous guests. None stopped mechanical noice from hotel equipment

Everything was great. I guess if there was one thing to improve is the water pressure. It was hard to rinse shampoo out of your hair. Otherwise, excellent facility.

Was meeting with a colleague after a conference, and decided to stay the night instead of driving back. So glad I did. The room is beautiful with a gorgeous view of the flatirons. I slept really well, and I felt oh so comfortable. I do have to say the front desk girls were a bit silly. I don't know if I looked weird or if they were just playing with each other, but I asked them a question, and as soon as I turned around, I heard a peal of laughter. Glad they're happy, but might want to make sure guests know it's not about them. The hotel lobby is also beautiful, and I felt at ease walking to the nearby mall.
