Quality Inn Jacksonville - Orange Park near Naval Air Station

The staff was nice.

First they charged me a $100 deposit when I checked in and paid for my room. Supposedly I will get it back in my account in 3 to 7 business days. What??? What was the deposit for? I have stayed in many hotels in my life and never paid such a deposit. It's not right and I hope I get my cash back. I would have canceled if I knew I was getting charged a deposit that was more than my room. The room smelled strongly of mildew, the fixtures in the bathroom were all loose and poorly installed. The outside hall had trash and dirty towels in it and there was no ice machine. Not a good experience. Stay away it's a rip off.

Stayed at Quality Inn on March 12, 2026—my wedding day and it was a terrible experience. As soon as we got off the elevator, the hallway smelled like urine and smoke. When we got into our room, the sheets had hair on them and looked like they had already been used. The room didn’t look cleaned at all. The door stopper was also broken off and just sitting on the floor. We went to the front desk and asked for another room. The woman said the only one available was a queen room with only 9 channels on the TV. We took it anyway. That room was a little cleaner, but the TV didn’t work at all. We tried every channel and nothing worked. We called the front desk and of course no help. We checked in at 9pm and ended up leaving by midnight because it was just impossible to stay there. The next day I called to see if they could make things right. The lady at the front desk immediately said ..We are not offering any refunds, even though I never even asked for a refund lol. That response alone said a lot. I asked to speak to a manager and they refused to come to the phone, I dont understand how is that ok. The only reason we booked this hotel was because it was close to our home and we wanted to stay close to our kids. Definitely not what we expected..especially on our wedding day. Very disappointing experience and will NEVER be back.

The condition of the room was not good. The room was big enough for my family but none of the doors would close, each one were coming off their hinges. The room smelt musky and the laundry room was broke.

Everything was nice and comfortable. I didn't want to check out. Staff was very polite and helpful.

There wasn't a lot of space for our dogs to relieve their selves but it was ok.
