The service at reception was excellent. Clark was very attentive to the guests.

The room cleaning staff should be more attentive; I think the room wasn't inspected before being put into service.

This hotel was trashy and elevator wasn’t working, wires were showing all over the place. Old looking rooms that claimed to be upgraded and supreme laughing out loud

Upon arrival at Intown Suites Westchase, the room had to be cleaned so I waited until it was done. Only to find out later that when I started to look around and check, there were dead roaches and other bugs under the bed, the dresser and refrigerator area. I was told it was one of the newly renovated rooms but the refridgerator had visible rust stains and one spot was so rusty on the door handle and you could see that there were cracked edges around it so if you weren't careful you would definitely cut yourself. I cleaned the dead bugs up but I wasnt happy about it. The building is currently undergoing construction and renovations and the rooms are slightly and selectively upgraded but definitely livable compared to what they used to look like in the past. The front door to the room wasn't renovated because it kept getting jammed and not closing properly because of foundation issues that you could visibly see where the door wasn't aligned and closing all the way. You could hear the outside noise and traffic clearly and there wasn't any weather stripping between where the door frame and lock meet. The weather stripping at the bottom of the door was missing in a section and you could see the outside walkway. The door was filthy on the outside. There was the constant smell of Marijuana and cigarette smoke daily and I would smell both on the inside of my room as well. The general manager Alphonso would open and close the office when he felt like it and one time I was going to the office to inquire about a small issue and he was outside smoking a cigarette and said I'll be with you shortly after I finish smoking. So I literally had to wait outside until he finished smoking and he took his time. This is such unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. Very disrespectful to the customer. There were pop-up room check visits and water shut-off repairs with NO WARNING to the residents. Housekeeping is nice and respectful. This review was based off of my experience there, so make your own decision when booking at this location.
