Sandcastles by the Beach

Our apartment was clean and nice 👌 fully equipped. I would definitely stay there again. I also liked how everything outside are in close proximity to the property.

Overall i enjoyed my experience but lighting of the rooms could be improved except for the bathroom.

The location was great

There was no hot water in the unit. No water coming out of the hot water spigot. Mildew on walls in the unit. I was unable to shower and no staff on site up to noon time to fix the problem.

Sandcastles is in a great location and is a good property if you are looking for something outside of the typical marble resort. The security staff and gate staff were wonderful and personable. The unit we stayed in was awful (some are privately owned and rented, some are owned and rented by the resort. I don't know which one ours was). The kitchen was terrible, very little in the way of cookware and some of the dishes were cracked and broken. There were no glasses available , just plastic that had seen better days. Not even a sharp knife or pair of scissors available. The twin beds only had a sheet, I had to use one of our towels to cover my kids. This was extra annoying as we only got a couple of towels to begin with, which were never replaced because the room was never cleaned. We requested bath mats but they never came. This property has so much potential, it's too bad that our experience was in apartment D7.

Wi fi did not work Microwave not work One roll of toilet paper for 3 people..two days The k Local agent was hard to contact. They did not even know my name We were not looked after well. We went to main desk. They said our unit was privately owned. So they could not repair anything This made the whole experience negative. Would never stay again

We booked last minute in the evening & was told after the booking that we were unable to check in so was left stranded after they took money for booking so had to book another hotel elsewhere, so book in advance & arrive early as they will take your Money & not check you in

No one knows what is going on. Check in was a nightmare. They didn’t have enough towels and wash clothes in the room.
