Hotel Havana

I chose this property, in part, because it offered EV chargers. Both were out of order upon our arrival, so they didn't charge us for parking. Also, the bar and restaurant advertised were closed. Room service was available and delivered in Styrofoam containers; there's better presentation at a Holiday Inn Express . All street traffic – as well as humans conversing on the street – could be heard from the second floor. Also heard from our room: every move of the guests in neighboring rooms; another guest woke us up at 2 a.m. And at one point the side entrance was locked and the hotel staffed could not open it. This meant exiting the front of the hotel through the enormous iron gates, onto the public sidewalk, through the parking lot, and back again to retrieve anything from the car. Also, only 6 neatly folded tissues were provided in the bathroom. We had to bring in our tissue box from the car. This was not a practical, convenient, peaceful or relaxing stay. The hotel's only positive is that it is near the Riverwalk.

The hotel was about a 30 minute walk to the Pearl and 10 minutes to downtown. The room was noisy from traffic on Saturday night and the wi-fi was hard to get on. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom had cracked tile on the floor and needed updating. I would rate it as average overall.

Unique hotel close to venue and downtown

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The ambiance of the hotel, the architecture, the welcoming lobby, the fragrance, the comfortable bed.

The was nowhere in the bathroom to put your hair, makeup and body care products. A small rectanglular table with shelves would have been nice. A second small chair would have also been appreciated as well as a second luggage rack.

Beautiful hotel with proximity to many places in the Riverwalk area. Service, hospitality, and style are on point. Totally recommend it.

Love this spot. A few blocks off the main river walk area. Very historic and charming hotel. Rustic hardwood floors, iron beds, etc. So much character. Super friendly staff to top it off.

Charming hotel close to quiet section of River Walk. Perfect for those who prefer character to big name hotels. The staff was superb. Felt like we knew them personally by the time we left. Excellent restaurant (Ocho) on site and a cool bar in the basement with a speakeasy feel.

Could have used more or brighter lights in our room.

The staff were excellent, the decor of the hotel is fantastic and has heaps of character . The fridge was stocked with a good range of drinks and the snacks are good as well . The bar in basement is great. The Resturant has amazing food.

There could be better lighting on the path to the restaurant.
