Really liked Lake Powell Resort's location, right on the lake front and inside Glen Canyon park. We had a good view of the lake from our room. Saw several roadrunner birds on a walk along the track leading out of the resort which was lovely

Rooms are a little tired and the walls are paper thin, but its also very good value for money so didn't mind for the price

Die Lage als Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Ausflüge ist gut.

Wir waren ungefähr eine Stunde vor offiziellem Check-in im Hotel und haben freundlich gefragt, ob wir schon einchecken können. Dieses wurde äußerst unfreundlich verweigert, indem man uns mitteilte, es wären noch keine Zimmer frei. Das Personal an der Rezeption war den ganzen Aufenthalt sehr unfreundlich und herablassend. Es wurde einem das Gefühl gegeben, man könnte froh sein, bedient zu werden. Als wir von unserem vorgezogenem Ausflug dann zurück kamen, wurde uns gesagt, dass das Zimmer in unserer Kategorie nicht verfügbar wäre und wir ein Upgrade bekommen. Von wegen: das Zimmer war eines der weit entferntesten und statt dem gebuchten Blick auf den Yachthafen gab es den entfernten Blick zum See. Wir waren zu müde, um nochmals zur Rezeption zurückzukehren und uns mit unfreundlichem und unprofessionellem Personal weiter zu ärgern. Man merkt im Ganzen, dass man es hier nicht nötig hat… Ein weiterer negativer Punkt war der sehr unangenehme Geruch (Abwasser/Kanal?) im Eingangsbereich vor dem Haupteingang!!!

Older rooms, furniture and bedding was worn, hair dryer was broke. Room rates are high for the current quality of the resort
