Super 8 by Wyndham Roseville/Detroit Area

If you need a place to stay.....keep driving. This was the absolute worst Super 8 Hotel we have ever stayed in. Upon arriving, we needed to use the restroom. We were informed that there were no public restrooms. What hotel doesn't have restrooms in the lobby. When we were given our room card, it was evident that the small envelop that held the card had been used many times before. It has filthy. As we entered the hallway the entire place reeked of cigarette smoke. When we entered the room, I immediately noticed that the bedspread had stains all over it. I took that off the bed only to reveal a blanket that was full of burn holes. We were literally there to sleep, otherwise I would have left. The sheets were clean. I didn't pay too much attention to the bathroom that night. But in the morning when I went to take a shower I discovered that the bathtub was filthy. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The bottom of the tube was black and there were long black hairs everywhere. I turned the shower on as hot as is would go to make me feel better about stepping in, only to see that the bottom of the shower curtain was also black. After showering I reached for a towel. The towel had a hole in it larger than my fist and had 4 large brown stains on it. I used hand towels to dry off. If this hotel had a breakfast, like most Super 8's, I couldn't say because the people checking me in didn't mention it and I definitely wouldn't have eaten there based on the smell of the hotel and the filth in my room. We have stayed in many Super 8's across the country and have never had such a bad experience.

The super 8 has very kind desk help with smiles upon entering the lobby/ desk and pleasant environment clean smelling rooms upon entry and breakfast available in front dining room which is very clean and tidy at all times.I would also recommend to a friend or family member to visit this super 8 in Roseville Michigan located at 20445 Erin Street.

I have been staying here from a long time. They are providing very good service very good front desk staff. Specially one girl who is working in the day shift she is really kind and helpful to everyone and always be supportive. Housekeeping is also good providing all the services on time.

The rooms are not being cleaned properly they smell of mold and needs to be updated I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming out to rent until they have made the necessary updates. I’ve stayed here in the past and they’ve gone down extremely

We had to get our rooms switched due to the first ones we had smelt like cigarettes/weed inside the room. Our second rooms were better smelling but had some bugs (earwigs and some other smaller bug) and the room above us had kids that were jumping on the beds screaming at 1am so had to complain to management to get them to quiet down. However the beds were super comfy, and it was a prime location. Still no hot breakfast served at this location, I find this is still common in a lot of hotels, but they did serve hot coffee, tea and juices in the morning.

The stay was okay.. I’ve been to worse places. It could’ve been better overall. Receptionist were a bit rude. Breakfast was only 3 hours and only beverages available. Room was small heard the hallway clear.

I always stay at Wyndham hotels w no issue but night shift here is condescending and then acts like they are helping you after being hurtful. After everything, my bathroom was dirty and all trashes were full. Would’ve rather paid in full somewhere else, than to have used my rewards here and have the whole trip feel terrible due to the worst customer service, and even just human interaction I’ve ever had in public.

No breakfast what so ever, rude staff makes you feel unwelcome. Rooms were fine.. but there is no breakfast, no juice and very little coffee.. people running up and down the stairs was obnoxious.. very rude staff.

Bed was comfy but the service was either inexperienced or rude. Stayed a week and only had housekeeping twice. No breakfast except juice or coffee. Business required me to stay an extra day. I had to request three time to add the day and told I was all only to receive a phone call that I had to vacate or the will call the authorities. I was able to add the extra day but was charged 40% extra as they would not use my corporate rate. I will not be returning

I stayed at the Red Roof Across the street last night. What a horrible dump. The door was stuck and wouldn’t close, for beginners. This place is the Marriot in comparison, and the man at check-in was incredibly polite and accommodating. He even lent me a cube for my iPhone cord, trusting that I (of course) will leave it in the room. King size bed, easy access to ice machine, room is clean, nice artwork and clean walls/floors. I’ll be back, as my son lives close. Quite satisfied for a very reasonable price.
