Island Travel Inn

It is the cheapest among some other accommodation in downtown of Victoria. It’s in the downtown and just walking distance to everything that you need. It’s clean the staff are helpful to all my needs. It has its own microwave and small fridge inside the room.

Not that I don’t like it’s a very old type hotel so don’t expect too much. Appliances are already old the microwave is not rotating because the rotator is damaged.

Front desk staff was great! very friendly and efficient. Location is great, price is great. Rooms are a nice size and feel spacious. the vanity outside the bathroom is very convenient.

The beds were so hard and you could feel springs in the mattress. The pillows weren't great they felt empty. The patio is nice to have but it was dirty.

Bed needs replacement

The mattress was decent and it was close to downtown, even though the surroundings were a bit sketchy.

Dirty dirty dirty. The tub was completely stained and was adorned with a filthy mat on top. The toilet seat wasn’t bolted down and would shift. The bathroom had no body wash and a single tiny bar of soap, with two little packets of 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. The headboard for the bed had foot stains, someone stepped on it and they didn’t clean it. The heater was broken and instead we had a tiny space heater on the desk to use. When we first got there, there was a police cruiser. The cherry on the cake was a sign on the door saying to not get curry stains on the towels or bed sheets. The staff didn’t want to be there. When we first got there, the guy at the counter just left for 30m and didn’t come back. We just sat there waiting for someone to help us. The luggage storage room smelled like urine. When they store your bags, they don’t tag it. They also just gave us the keys to go get them back, meaning that anyone could go there unsupervised and get our bags.
