JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya

Everyone from the doorman, reception, waitress and cleaner.. all are so friendly and very polite.

Nothing. All is good to me.

Arrived around 1pm and was checked in very quickly and was escorted to my room. I had booked a junior suite which was big and very clean with big room to floor windows. We had planned to eat in the buffet restaurant as had read excellent reviews, on arriving at the restaurant was informed it was closed for private function. We ate in the lobby bar restaurant which was pretty poor for the standard of hotel. We sent one dish back as the chicken was like rubber, was really overcooked. We had arranged to meet business associates the next morning for a business meeting, on waking up a letter was put thru door advising you could only spend 60 minutes in the restaurant as the hotel was busy. We checked out and hastily booked breakfast at another local hotel. We must have received 2 or three emails from the hotel pre-check in so why could they not advise of these restrictions/closing in advance. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with Marriott on this occasion

Fabulous 22nd floor residence Attentive staff & superlative facilities.

Pool seemed dated. Jacuzzi could have been a few degrees less 🥵
