The Residences at Mountain Lodge, Beaver Creek by Hyatt Vacation Club

The location was perfect - not too close to the possible noise of the town square, but close enough for an easy walk to the shops and hiking trails. The pool was a little small and sometimes not enough sun beds. Our room had catering facilities (microwave / cooker etc) and you could borrow DVD's to play in your room.

The room and facilities were a little dated, but for a short stay it was perfectly acceptable.

Located in a beautiful setting, it is very much like a lodge: cozy and warm. I stayed overnight during the “off-season“ so there were not many people here. I was OK with that. But, because it was off-season, only one elevator to the rooms was operating, which meant walking a great distance through the lodge from the parking elevator to the room elevator, and walking a great distance to the room once I reached my floor. I walked past a couple of elevators that were not in service, and couldn’t understand why one of those wouldn’t have been better to keep in service. The room has no air conditioning (I guess it is a lodge, after all). A box fan had been provided, so slept with the window open. Not a bad thing, but the fan was extremely loud. The pilot light in the fireplace was big enough to keep heat radiating from the unit which made keeping the room at a comfortable temperature challenging. I imagine during the winter this would be a wonderful place to stay. I can’t imagine what it would be like in the summer and wouldn’t want to stay here in the off-season again, especially at a high rate for just one night to struggle with climate control in what otherwise was a very nice room.

Everything was clean, room was comfortable. We enjoyed hearing the rushing creek below our windows!

a lot of shops and restaurants that were walkable were closed or only doing order ahead/pick up orders. Thought the location would be more convenient for food and entertainment. Hotel offered coffee was terrible.

David at the front desk went out of his way to accommodate our every request. The location was excellent and decor was well-appointed. Would stay here again!

Great location and nice room

There was no breakfast, it was off season and it was disappointing.
