Limetree Beach Resort by Club Wyndham

I hope the housekeeper who has the clothes I left in the room enjoys them. I have called three times about my clothes and was finally told no clothes were turned in. The days of honest people are behind us, desperate times. Enjoy the $700 worth of clothes.

We have stayed at the Limetree twice & it has been a great stay each time. This is a hillside, beachfront resort, the unit we stayed was hillside & what id call split-level. Being hillside, there are several stairs to the buildings, beach, & inside the unit. There was ample gated parking, tennis courts, a great pool with a staffed swim-up bar to order drink & food (nachos, hamburger, etc). The resort is on Limetree beach, which is nice & uncrowded during each of our stays. Our unit had a kitchenette & bathroom near the entrance, a few stairs to the dining table & living room which lead to a balcony with beautiful beach/ocean views. The bedroom was up several stairs from the living area, kinda like a loft. The room was updated, modern, clean & resort ground were well kept. If I recall, there was an additional daily USVI & daily energy fee. We have always rented a car being restaurants, shopping, & other great beaches are a distance away from Limetree. We would definitely consider staying at the Limetree again.

We booked this studio unit through RCI and it was exactly what we were looking for. The unit was comfortable with a good bed, AC, and a fan. It had a good size fridge, coffee maker and microwave which is important for us as we like to do breakfast at the unit and take lunch or dinners there so you are not forced to eat out every meal. The pool is nice and there are plenty of chairs and cabanas. There is a decent fitness facility also. My only real complaint is that the beach is very rocky and we did not get in the water much at the resort. (see next comment) This is a great location where you can take day trips to different beaches during the week which we did most every day. We do not do all-inclusives because we like exploring and this is not an all-inclusive feel so do not come expecting that. Get a car and explore the beautiful beaches. We have been to many caribbean islands and passed through St. Thomas going to St. John, but this was our first time on island for a week. Limetree was a nice home for the week as we traveled to different beaches and explored the island.

This is a small low-key resort. The grounds are maintained beautifully. The beach is small, and rocky getting into the ocean . I recommend you bring aqua socks. There is a pool bar that has daily happy hour specials. This resort’s web site states that there is a BBQ on site, but it is charcoal, not propane that you might expect. You can buy a bag of charcoal on site for $17. The utensils are grossly filthy. There is a dive shop on site where you can rent snorkel gear, beach chairs, etc. we rented beach chairs for the week because we drove to a different beach every day . A chair was $50 for the week. We were in a 1 bedroom villa. The kitchen was small: a microwave, 4 burner stove top, but no oven or dishwasher. Check in time is 4 pm and is strictly adhered to. We didn’t get into our room until 5 pm. I would stay here again.

We recently returned from 2 weeks in St Thomas at Limetree Beach. This was our first visit. Our mid-level studio room was very comfortable, clean and all the amenities worked well. King bed was fabulously comfortable! We called Housekeeping a couple times for beach towels and a spaghetti pot - someone delivered them immediately. Our balcony had a lovely view of the pool and beach. We spent mornings and evenings out there sipping coffee or cocktails. The resort is small but the Lanai Restaurant is very good and they have a little market for sandwiches & essentials. There is also a dive shop where you can book excursions or rent beach chairs, pool toys, coolers, etc. It is in a very convenient location for reaching other spots like Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie. The only negative is that the kitchenette is quite tight so you are cooking with a 2 burner hotplate, 2 pots, 1 skillet, microwave and very short counter space. Limetree is one of the Wyndham gems! We loved it and hope to do another visit soon!

We stayed here with our Club Wyndham points. What a lovely property! Secluded, beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The restaurant, market, bar and dive shop are all private contractors-not Wyndham employees. Sunsets were beautiful… We very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a bit of a mix up with our Airbnb stay. Pamela and Maceala were so kind and welcoming and understanding while we got the issue sorted out with our host. They took excellent care of us in what was a frustrating and confusing moment. They both went above and beyond. Later Pamela helped us find transportation and fun activities for our stay. She really cares about her guests' experience. We ended up at three different properties over our stay in St. Thomas, and the staff at the Limetree was by far the best. We will definitely be back!

The property garden area was well maintained and the rooms looked nice, however, the room was not as clean as I would have expected. The staff was lovely and welcoming, but the service in terms of timeliness could use some work. We left and came back after hours and still had to wait a while before the room was ready. We were eventually given another room instead. The only dining available was not open until 10am and after waiting until the opening time, the menu was underwhelming. I would give the hotel another try in the future because overall my family and I enjoyed ourselves.
