For the price, good value, continental breakfast especially the waffles was excellent

Room was okay for the price that we paid. However, the bathroom was utterly disgusting. There was black mold growing between the tiles. The tub had separated from the floor. The restroom also smelled like sewage!! Would recommend elsewhere.

beds were falling apart, light burned out when u walked in room, no smoke detector.

We were on our way to Chicago and had to stop for the night around 2 am. Didn't want to spend too much considering we were leaving just a few hours later. Looked sketchy but we figured we'd try. We should've judged this dirty erotic book by its cover. We got a decent rate, my husband got the key and we went in the room. The bed was NOT made, it was dirty PLUS there was a condom wrapper on the bed. I'm scared to think where the condom went. We immediately turned around and went back to the car. My husband went to complain and we went down the road to the Baymont (which was more expensive but worth it) We had our 3 kids with us! There were a couple of guys across the way from us, yelling down at some "girls" and another girl calling out to her "friend" asking where she was and if she was "okay" Her friend answered her and we saw a man leave the room she was in, he got in his car and left and then the girl left the room and went back to where the guys and other girl were. If this wasn't a by the hour transaction, I don't know what else that would look like. Disgusting. Don't stay here, unless of course you're into that sort of thing! I should've taken a picture but I was too busy running away carrying my 1 year old.

I stayed a couple of days because I was visiting a friend, and this hotel is pretty good for the money I paid.

It is a decent clean place with a ton of things to do within a mile. Staff is good and its right off of the hwy.

the rooms stink, maids didn't do a thing

Attendant was rude. First room had no latch for safety, dead bolt didn't work, no rack to hang my clothes, no waste basket, shower cold nozzle didn't work. Asked for another room it was more of the same but had a latch, rack and the cold nozzle did work. Won't be staying there again.

Put us on 2nd floor, wouldn't give us btm floor had ex in wheelchair unable to climb stairs wouldn't change rooms or nothing rude staff

I stayed here in august 2014 and had a pleasant stay and I believe I wrote a review on that trip. But fast forward to present time 3/21/15 our check in date and seems things have gone downhill. Let's start with what greeted us inside the hotel room.. As we walked in we noticed 2 air fresheners ( those circular type ones) sitting in the vents of the wall heater / air conditioner... Puzzled by this over powering fruity smell from them, we stumbled into yet another one in the bathroom. Ok this is odd.. But the answer to the mystery air fresheners is written below.. Turning on the TV, some cable channels worked, some were fuzzy and hard to see and yet more were not even working at all.. The remote was also sticky and I grabbed a damp towel to wipe up whatever the hell was on that before trying to watch TV. As the night wore on, my friend decided to take a shower.. The tub is a mess.. rust stains, loose fittings on the faucets, cracks around the edges and then suddenly the air fresheners made total sense... As my friend showered, this horrible rotten egg sulfur smell was clearly evident in the water. Imagine well water smell untreated. But here's the odd twist to it. The sink water is perfectly fine. No smell and the water tastes fine. So maybe they are using two different systems (one for shower water, the other for the sink.) Honestly this would make no sense to use two systems but maybe its a common thing in hotel's. That I wouldn't know about. We turned in for the night and left today 3/22/15 to enjoy the sights and sounds. Coming back in mid afternoon we noticed our beds were NOT made but we had fresh towels. So the maid came in to stock our towels but why didn't they make our beds? I've never had that happen in ANY of the numerous hotels / motels or b&b's I've stayed in. Someone's definitely sleeping on the job. Overall, the price isn't bad and the location is a breeze to get too being very close to the i-94 freeway system. The bed was comfortable, Plenty of restaurants / coffee shops and even the mall is right down the road. The negative that tops the bill is obviously the egg smelling hot water in the bathroom. The air fresheners also come in a close 2nd as does the weak WiFi signal . I may choose another hotel in upcoming months sadly. I chose this place this time around because of the value price and since I stayed here before. '
