Marina Village Inn

The front desk staff was so friendly and accommodating. The location is RIGHT on the water and we loved walking around and looking at all the boats. Perfect for anyone who is visiting the city but doesn't want to stay IN the city. We took the ferry to the city it was beautiful and cheap.

The ONLY thing would be free breakfast but I understand that's probably what keeps the rate low.

I booked a room with a view onto the harbour, during a low season. It was very peaceful, with no one passing in front of the balcony and a full impression of having the harbour all to myself. This is a good place if you want to explore San Francisco in your own rhythm, travelling by ferry whose station is in a bit more than half an hour by foot.

Views from room and overall quiet location. Maintenance person came right away when we noted our coffee machine was not working.

It was quite hot when we stayed, and our room air conditioner did not go on automatically, even though we set a lower temp. You could manually turn it on, and it would stay on for a while, but not even get to the temp set and would turn itself off. This required multiple manual resets throughout the night which disturbed our sleep, and it just never got cool enough.

The door hardware on main office checkin / lounge needs to be replaced with ADA compliant door handles like they have for all the rooms.

A very clean room with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Very good location

Il n'y avait pas d'ascenseur et quand il faut monter plusieurs bagages, c'est pas vraiment l'idéal.
