Sandown Regency Hotel & Apartments

It was roomy. The beds were comfy. The fridge was huge, which was a bonus! The room was easy to get to. The shower was hot. Couldn't hear any surrounding noises at night.

It was old. Needs new fixtures, furniture and sercurity (screen doors and main door only has a chain). I got the apartment to share with mum. She jammed a stand in front of her door for extra sercurity..

Room smelt like cigarettes. There was no fringe No heating Wifi didn’t work No extra blankets or pillows

Not many positives here at all.

Loud music from their entertainment lounge. Every night until midnight we had to endure loud drums and bass. I eventually complained to reception. The person there could hardly hear me due to the loud music. Dirty rooms, stained sheets and the room was in total disrepair. Sliding door to room could not even lock, anyone could just walk in. If latched all it takes is a shake and it opens. I used a file from the boot of my car to secure it. I'm never going there again.

The room was dirty, curtains chair has stains, not enough pillows only 1 blanket. Bed was the worse uncomfortable, can feel the springs through mattress. The base was on floor with sagging mattress. Party with loud music and kids running around til about midnight.

A bit old, but room, cleanness, room are in good condition and well maintained

Some facilities were not working properly, eg toilet flush was not flowing properly, and some smoking odour can still smelt. But not too distracted.
