Comfort Inn Walcott near Davenport

The location was good. I checked out and resumed travel before breakfast was served.

Earlier I responded to a customer satisfaction questionnaire. Now another!? I was asked what gender I was born as, which was an irrelevant and offensive question. However, worse than that, the question revealed weak management; it suggested the Comfort Inn management team does not consist of highly educated professionals, but immature and suggestible millennials that jumped abord the social and political bandwagon. Lose the question! Now I know, in the future if a customer suffers a mishap wherein negligence on the part of Comfort Inn exists, they should not expect a competent and good faith settlement effort but, rather, lawyer up quickly. I am a retired loss control specialist and, thus, I see this from a perspective that never occurred to the Comfort Inn management team which, I guess, is a sign of the times. Do not go down the road Bud Light chose!

The pool did not work, although information is written everywhere that the pool is open. We booked the hotel only because of the pool and breakfast! Wi-Fi didn't work either! In the morning there was no light in the hotel, respectively, there was no breakfast either! The elevator also did not work, I had to go down from the 3rd floor with children and suitcases. It was the most terrible experience, never before had there been such problems with hotels! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! It is better to drive 30 minutes away, pay a plus of $ 30 and enjoy your vacation! It's a pity the money spent on this hotel!!!

The front desk guy is a real big jerk. I am on a road trip from Colorado. I accidentally booked at a wrong location and was trying to figure it out. He got mad, told me to take a seat. I told him I had two service dogs when I checked in. He gave us an attitude when he saw my dad and I walk in with two service dogs. The room smelled like a bad musty smell. The front desk guy was giving everyone an attitude, gave some senior citizen who was a veteran an attitude as well. This guy does not belong in hospitality. The breakfast was awful, the yogurt was expired by at least 20 days. 0/10 do not recommended. Save your money and stay somewhere else

A lot of noise from the Interstate. Breakfast selection was limited.

Truck noise all night. No ice. Smell of smokers all over.

The card keys for the door struggled upon first use and three had to be re-keyed by morning. This happens every time and the keys were not confused between the three rooms. The blow dryer did not work in room 202. Without checking, the desk clerk did not grant even one room for a late check out.

Check-in was easy. Room was dated but ok. Breakfast was sad. Coffee old. No pancake batter and when I told the front deck. Response was to check level. There was little left and he told me to use the flavored one. No eggs left. Coffee was old and thick. Sad. No customer service.

Poo stain on the outside of the toilet, stains on the carpet, no ice in any of the ice machines. Breakfast was lacking, no waffle mix. Water dispenser was empty. Staff unfriendl. Pool to cold to swim in.
