Casa del Mar Cozumel Hotel & Dive Resort with free access to an exclusive beach club

We stayed there for one night, before boarding a cruise. The hotel was good for what we needed. Pool, walking distance to port, close to shore. Would have been nice to have access to a beach area to swim

Loved the private beach and the really pleasant and friendly wait staff at the bar. Also loved the swim up bar in the pool. Lastly, the dive shop and its proximity to the hotel was fantastic.

It wasn't so far as didn't like, but the check in staff were not always friendly. Somerimes, I got the impression that I was interupting their phone tag with friends.

Pool and Restaurant are nice and its associated with a dive shop next door. Safe street passage with bridge.

Constant ongoing construction without an apology or mention during booking nor check-in. No elevator available.

We have stayed at Casa Del Mar over 20 times in the last 16 years. The staff are why we keep coming back. This may be the last time we stay there as the hotel needs upgrades in many areas. The bedrooms are noisy with the AC and fridge and generally need refurbishment. Bathroom windows (most rooms) are not sealed and allow mosquitoes to enter. Showers/sinks generally need to be replaced and water flow improved. The Restaurant has not changed the menu in 16 years and the quality of the food has decreased. The Cabanas are good, we have stayed in them several times to avoid staying the main hotel rooms, this is an expensive decision to have to make. The bridge from the hotel to the beach has been in disrepair for several years, it is dangerous and has not been repaired. Management needs to take action or they will lose more long term guests. Most of the rest of our Dive Team do not stay there anymore. While the great staff entice us to return it is getting more difficult due to condition of the rooms and the restaurant.

This was our fourth stay in Cozumel, and our third at Casa Del Mar in the past 4 years. The staff is very friendly, supportive, and helpful. The location offers great convenience for Divers, and proximity for shopping and dining. You can walk to downtown we did it twice this trip. The prices are very reasonable, and we are already planning our next trip and stay at Casa Del Mar.

This is my second time staying in this hotel, we noticed a declived in the food service in this hotel from the last time. I hope they will improve it next time.

We were lucky enough to get a newly renovated room with view to the garden. Friendly team, good rooms, i even liked the shampoo xD Spaceous balcony to hang the wet suits from diving and even a dock for you to be picked up for your diving trips. There is water and ice cubes in the hallway for everyone, and they give out towels for the beach. No real access to the beach but did the best they could with the dock and view over the ocean. Walls are kind of thin and you hear everyone walking/talking etc.

Poor service

I have stayed at Casa Del Mar 5 times & it is a perfect hotel for me & will return
