Mamaras Guest House

The pool, breakfast delicious, environment, atmosphere. The snorkeling trip with mantarays, fish and turtles was spectacular arranged by hotel, beach trips and massages at the end of a long day touring. Crystal Bay is a short ride away with great off the beach snorkeling. There is also a beach club Amok Sunset which picks and drops you off from the guesthouse which we realised after research - this needs to be better advertised by Mamaras as guest can enjoy also as complimentary shuttle. Rooms cleaned everyday and beds made. They will pick up and drop off from Harbour and have drivers that take you everywhere, you pay but it is convenient and easy.

The extra bed is just a mattress on the floor. My 10 year old wasnt impressed. She got use to it. Small open vents in wal above curtain rail,l which means lizards and mosquitos could get in, but it was okay as we got use to it and left lights on outside and bathroom to keep things away which worked.

The environment was beautiful. I loved the swimming pool and gardens. The breakfast was very good, particularly the banana juice. The staff were very helpful and kind... they even lent me their own personal bicycle for a few hours. Although it's only a couple of kilometres from the two popular snorkelling beaches, Crystal Bay and Gamat Bay, it's a steep road back, so you have to be fit and enjoy walking unless you drive of course. Gamat Bay, which is a much nicer walk, was my favourite for snorkelling. I really enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it.

We really appreciate the host (Ketut). He was always here for us when need something. The hotel was very nice, clean and everyone was very kind. You can go without thinking !!

Swimming pool, kind and helpful personnel, clean, cosy cottage, beautiful garden, walking distance to several restaurants, 3km walk from Gamat Bay (perfect for snorkeling)

Breakfast could be more extensive without the extra costs for ordering additional food, compared to other stays we had this was below-average. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

Breakfast was very limited and not a buffet. We can only select one option from the menu for the free breakfast.

We liked that it was clean, staff very friendly, helpful and kind. We didnt expected that they will clean floors and beds every day. Very nice place with grate view. We ordered massage, loundry and snurkling trip, they organised everything. And the price was very good about everything. Strong recomemdations 💯‼️
