Mamaras Guest House

Oh.So.Good. if I could rate 10 +++ I would. Before we arrived, communication was excellent. Organising of airport transfers and day trips out was so easy. Our staff at the guest house were so friendly & helpful, drivers amazing. Breakfast delicious & included in the price, beds comfy and a beautiful pool to relax in and around.

The peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings. The owner and his son were so ready to help and organized whatever we needed. Thanks for the ride to the port and for carrying my suitcase all the way to the departure area. We had a lovely stay.

Just needed some extra lighting in the room. We needed to use our phone torch to look in our bags. Others everything was great!

Great place to stay. Room was very nice. Close to the harbour and from here we booked a private driver who drove us to the highlights (8 hours is enough as long as you leave early (no later than 7AM to beat the crowds). The facilities are good. One of our suitcases got very wet during the boattrip so all the clothes needed to get washed. No problem, Mamaras arranged it right away. Also enough restaurants in the neighbourhood. The swimming pool is also nice.

The location and view of the rice terraces from the room with window walls was amazing! The food, stuff and swimming pool were great! The outside shower and bathroom were the best!

The rice terraces were muddy and without any rice when we visited Kabinawa, which made it look less nice. If you get there during the time when the rice is green it should look way better, I guess.

We had booked a room for 3 people. As we arrived , we only got a room with 2 beds ,which were btw tiny. We explained to the staff that we are 3 people ,so we need another bed, they wanted to give it to us for A LOT of money. Even tho it was their mistake ,they still wanted money for the bed. The owner was really aggressive and started shouting at us. When we got ,,the bed” it was only mattress on the floor. Since the floor was really cold , my 15 year old caught a cold. The bedsheets had stains on them and even holes. The bathroom has no proper door and also no refrigerator in the room. At breakfast , the juice was mixed with water ,so no natural and the coffee was really bad too. We felt really uncomfortable in this hotel. DONT COME HERE !!

Great resort. Beautiful, clean pool in lush gardens. So peaceful.

The place was a real paradise! We enjoyed each moment of our stay there as the staff was really helpfull and kind and the pool area and our room were so besutifull that we didn' t want to leave...Also they arranged for us a tour and rent us a motorbike! We already miss it! Thank you for everything you did for us!
