Casa Biulú

The view of zipolite from this property u will never forget.Beautiful pool and topical Plants on property provide for total relaxation. Great staff very and helpfull.

Recomiendo ampliamente Casa Biulú, está muy cerca de la playa y de todos los restaurantes … todo muy limpio y en orden. El personal muy amable.

The pool and view were excellent. A very hard hill to property which gives its great view,is a workout by foot. The area had a issue with its credit card machines , So bring cash.

Total irrespect ....road to get to the resort is almost impracticable....some 70 steps or more to get to your room...restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner....so you have to walk in complete darkness at night to get to the restaurants downhill on a steep broken road ....only spanish spoken so you get welcomed only with a payment terminal asking you to pay right a way for your stay....at night, lights are closed so it looks like an abandonned resort.....pool is great though with a nice view.... The owner ( from her home in Italy ) illegally charged us taxes on 4 cancelled nights .... Expedia at first promise us to 'chase' Casa Biulu for them to re-imburse us but finally surrendered....we felt profoundly ripped off !!!! we are regular travellers and hate to complain ....this time was just to much !!! we had to tell you guys. So be advised :)

I stayed in this hotel in Jan 2022 with my friend in their Exec. Studio Suite. It was absolutely my worst hotel experience. (I am frequent traveler). Everything was abysmal and outrageous, including the utter and complete disrespect shown to us by the owner (who lives on site) and her staff, the nonexistent services which were advertised on this site (the wifi could not be accessed from the room), dilapidated furniture (see attached pictures), trash below the room which could be seen from the balcony, towels which felt like sandpaper on my face, and no replenishment of toiletries. I requested an extra bed and agreed to pay extra but they provided the absolute worst mattress for the extra bed (basically a sponge mattress which is the cheapest that they could find). When we complained the following morning after my friend basically had no sleep the prior night, the owner took our complaints personally and rather than making things right as any professional in the hospitality industry would have done, she and her staff actively sought to make us feel unwelcome. At breakfast, they rudely refused to give me an extra cup of coffee even though they advertised on this site that breakfast was free, and even argued that breakfast was a "courtesy" which could be taken away. The owner then said that we could leave if were not happy. I could not believe how offensive they were! Stay away or they may try to ruin your vacation! These people know absolutely nothing about customer service.

Desde que ingresas se respira un ambiente de paz y tranquilidad, las áreas comunes me parecieron muy coloridas y acogedoras. Las habitaciones muy lindas y cómodas sobre todo, hay muchos detalles en general que me gustaron, como los desayunos, la alberca, la vista desde la terraza es espectacular y la gente que trabaja ahí es muy amable también :) Muchas gracias!

My husband and I stayed at Casa Biulu for several nights over NYE weekend. We couldn't have had a better experience. The property is a short walk (a couple of minutes) to the center of Playa Zipolite, the views from the pool are incredible, and the rooftop bar is a fantastic experience. The owner of the property Federica was responsive via WhatsApp. She helped arrange travel arrangements from Huatulco airport and organized a NYE party on the rooftop. When we return to Playa Zipolite, we will definitely be returning to Casa Biulu.

Come for the pool, stay for the hospitality.

Amazing view., nice balcony, great staff

Liked the pool, terrace and views plus staff were friendly. Didn’t like the tired rooms and bathrooms, expect better at this price point.
