The Price!!! that was booked in a near last minute emergency

The smell. It wasn't bad but it was a strong order of some sort of room conditioning. It was rather strong. But it was easy to get used to after some time.

I booked a queen-size two-bed room through Booking.com, even though I was alone and traveling with my medium-sized cat. At the reception, a black male staff member first told me that my card was declined. I explained that I had selected the option to pay at the property, so I paid in cash. But when he saw my cat, he said pets were not allowed. I told him I had booked the hotel after checking that pets were allowed. Then he said that this option should definitely be removed from the website. I was looking at him in surprise. Later, when I extended my stay for two more nights, I paid cash again at the front desk receptionist White lady was a Nice however, the next day, I received a call from the front desk with a heavy female voice informing me of a $200 deposit and a cat fee, which I had not clearly seen on the website—the site only mentioned “charges may apply,” which is very vague. So at the time of check out she return me only 100 dollar and charge 100 dollars of cat fee. I believe that for the sake of animal rights, pets should be exempt from such fees. My advice: if you are booking here with a pet, confirm in advance, otherwise you may face surprise at the reception.
