Quality Inn Shallotte near Ocean Isle Beach

Cleanliness of the room

No curtains in the room. All lamps not working. No grab bars in the shower.

It was clean in a good location and the staff was very polite.

Nothing I could put my hand on

The hotel smelled like cat pee; Door cards had to be repeatedly programmed. pillows were horribly soft!

Staff very friendly and informative. The room was VERY clean. Bed, sheets, and spread were so comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Enjoying our stay

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room and facilities. Good price and value. Limited but sufficient continental breakfast. Some finishes could be better but those are minor details for value.

The bed cover was stained on both beds and the toilet had a huge crack on the bottom and difficult to flush

There was a large stain on the comforter. Breakfast was supposed to be served at 6:30 am. I went down at 6:40. There was nothing available. A couple of guests were at the front desk waiting to check out. We waited about 10 minutes and then an employee came in from outside. He said he would have breakfast available in about 20 minutes. The 3rd floor was frigid. We turned our a/c off in our room for our entire 4 day stay and were comfortable. Not easily accessible and not a good parking situation.
