The smell of damp and mould is very strong, overpowering. A health hazard? Miss Vanessa and team are very good, very helpful.
The staff is excellent! The manager, Vanessa is top teir!!
The property was clean, staff were friendly and it was very convenient to shopping.
I was a spur of the moment trip and was fortunate to get this property. It was clean and the bed was only a full size bed but comfortable, although I was thinking we were suppose to have a queen size bed.I did not like the smell and seemed to be very humid.
Nice room, clean, comfortable bed, nice linens. Got assigned room at check in, take luggage up, door key wont work. Back to front desk Checked it out, had to assign new room, next floor up, next day, same thing, go to room, key wont work, back to front desk........magnetic key out of order. Me? Up and down, front desk....update computer???.
My Sister, my Granddaughter, and I enjoyed our stay at BW PLUS. We were welcomed by Gracie who was so gracious, informative, polite, attentive, businesslike, a great spirit and addition to your team! Our room was clean and if we needed anything, the TAT was fast to resolve. The site was close to all the main attractions (Carolina Beach,Kure Beach,and Downtown) not to mention all the eatery options as well as grocery stores. The lady that prepared the breakfast every morning was so kind and easy to talk to. I apologize for not knowing her name. We will stay again. The only thing I wished for was a better sleeping mattress. We felt safe, BW was clean, and the area was quiet which speaks volumes in my book.
Good Rooms, Good breakfast,
As soon as we walked into the room, there was a terrible odor and musty smell. We requested another room and it was the same. Within a short while, my son (who suffers with allergies) was struggling with allergies. Eyes were swelling, nose was running, and other symptoms were coming on. We decided to check out and find another place to stay. Unfortunately, although Expedia has tried to contact management about this, we still do not have any sort of refund or resolution for this. Do not visit this hotel of you are sensitive to odors or have allergies to dust or mold!
