Lotus by Hotel Inn - Hot Springs

Location. Had never been to Hot Springs AR before.

No one was at office when we stopped originally intending to check in. Premises was disgusting, trashy, with visible black mold , pealing paint, crumbling concrete, structurally unsound. Did not feel safe in the complex. I can't believe you have this on your site as a lodging option.

The staff and manager were very nice and accommodating.

The room was extremely musty. We had to buy febreeze and spray regularly. There were cockroaches. I wouldn't take my stuff into my house until I sprayed it, then took it directly to the laundry. They have attempted to repaint the room but did so hastily and missed a lot of spots. We ran out of toilet paper and had to call the manager even though the cleaning staff had brought in new towels that day.

No breakfast. Place was under new management. Remodeling was underway. Some rooms had broken windows & discarded furniture was piled in the parking lot. Plus there was a musty smell in air. Oh, and I forgot the ants in the room and on the bed. I'm sure it will get better in time.

The rate said one thing when first popped up, but was $25 more when viewing the booking site.
