Pioneer Inn by the River

Basic older rooms. Very clean.

Exterior needs upkeep.

The drapes and furniture were dirty to the extent that you didn't want to touch them The bed on the other hand was new and clean sheets. It had and old quilted spread which I discarded. The bathroom was clean but the Reno was done by a not so handy handyman. A "C" for effort. It was very expensive for the lack of quality but they have a captive ferry trade Not recommended.

Ruhige Lage etwas außerhalb. Es war sauber und wir hatten einen kleinen Balkon. Kleine Küchenzeile, es gab auch ein kleines Frühstück.

The hotel had the last room available in town with late check-in until 1 am. The staff were pleasant and the location is quiet. The bed was okay and the water pressure was strong. The tap water actually tasted okay. There was a basic grab and go breakfast in the main office. Laundry facility on site.

The bedding had stains. The hotel is in need of a renovation. The windows didn't lock, so security is just an illusion. No elevator to the second floor. The sound proofing was not good enough as I could hear the couple in the adjacent room fighting.

Great little motel. Older but extremely comfortable and very clean and quiet.

Das Motel war von der Fähre aus relativ einfach und schnell zu erreichen. Die Rezeption war auf das späte Erscheinen vorbereitet und das Einchecken ging problemlos. Die Unterkunft wirkte sauber und das Bett war bequem.

Die Unterkunft ist relativ einfach und die Ausstattung könnte mal überarbeitet werden.

The room was spacious and accomodating, with a large refrigerator and cook stove in the kitchenette. The living area was comfortable. The setting was great for those of us who live rural, natural beauty. The building itself badly needed exterior paint and maintenance.
