Barceló Huatulco - All Inclusive

Our stay at Barceló Huatulco was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and genuinely cared for. The level of service was outstanding—it truly felt like we were waited on hand and foot the entire time. The rooms were spotless and consistently well-maintained, and the minibar was always fully stocked. Every five minutes, attentive staff would stop by our table to make sure we had everything we needed—whether it was more drinks or food. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction. The resort itself is beautiful. The pool was pristine, and the beach was absolutely stunning. Having both poolside and beachside service made the experience even more relaxing. There were plenty of activities for both adults and kids, from pool games and dancing to music and evening shows, ensuring there was never a dull moment. And with 24/7 food options, we were always able to enjoy delicious meals at any time. What truly made this experience unforgettable was the exceptional leadership of the resort’s manager, Gloria. She seemed to be everywhere at once—overseeing the restaurants, shows, pools, laundry, lobbies, and bars—ensuring that everything ran smoothly. More importantly, she took the time to personally connect with guests, always greeting everyone with a warm smile and genuine kindness. On our last night, I mentioned to her that it was our final evening at the resort. Without hesitation, she came around from the bar and gave me a heartfelt hug. That simple yet meaningful gesture perfectly captured the warmth and hospitality we felt throughout our stay. This was truly the best all-inclusive experience for our entire family. We left with unforgettable memories and can’t wait to return. I highly recommend Barceló Huatulco to anyone looking for exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and a resort that makes you feel like family.

Good value. Room maintenance needs to be a priority. Most staff members were excellent. Food average. Nightly oitside grill was good.

Grounds are nice. Check in was very basic. So far zero service at the pool, tho have seen servers there.

I’ve been to a lot of all inclusives so I can compare. The food at this resort is not good quality. Additionally, their chafing dishes and corresponding heating are old so the food is not hot. They are also small so they run out fast and don’t get refilled very quickly. When you check-in you get 2 coupons for the al carte restaurants, meaning you can only eat at these twice during the week. The rest of the time you have to eat at the buffet. Disappointing to say the least. Thankfully there were a few restaurants across the street so we ate there and also went into Le Crusecita a few times for meals. There was a lot of talk from other guests complaining about the food also. I would not go back to this resort.

Everything was great with the exception of the food that probably came from Dona Rosa. All staff were incredible and attentive. The beach was beautiful

Barcelo had nice pools and the kids section looked like fun. The beach was great, and the bars served great drinks. The food at the buffet restaurant was good and the meal and red wine at the Italian restaurant were fantastic. We would stay here again

Resort was comfortable and safe. Staff members were amazingly hospitable and friendly. Given the smaller size, there were some limitations to seating and availability of restaurants. That being said, I wouldn’t want it to grow larger and change or it might lose its authenticity. It was slower paced with a relaxed vibe. We enjoyed ourselves very much with no complaints. I would note that there is little ‘premium’ benefit and would likely not bother with premium if we stayed here again.

Just back after our 3rd visit in the past 12 months. Yes we like this place that much. The cleanliness, the food quality and variety are outstanding. But what really makes this destination stand are the friendly and welcoming staff members. They make an effort to remember your name, drink preferences and greet you with a smile. While some of the support staff staff such as gardeners, pool cleaners and life guards work quietly in the background, a simple greeting and acknowledgement to them always brings a smile to their face and a warm response. A special nod of appreciation to Eduardo in the premium lounge, Albino at the fish spa, Cesar from the Premium and La Tortuga, Eden at the La Fontana restaurant, Gabriela quietly working seemingly everywhere, for making this stay especially memorable. We notice many hardworking young staff whose name we do not recall, and can only hope the management appreciates and recognizes their efforts. We have recommended this resort to friends, family and coworkers and do so without hesitation. Yes it is that good! Ed & Jenny

The resort is good a bit outdated to be honest it feels like it was probably the best resort in huatulco about 10 years ago but seems like it lost its shine as time went on. Rooms are good with plenty of room but lighting is a bit poor in the rooms and they just feel old a bit of a remodel would boost this resort to its potential once again. Food is good in the buffet area. Special dining was truly amazing.
