Booked the villa for 2 couples - only downside is that there is only one bathroom and it is in the double bedroom. Fine for families and 'close' friends but if you value privacy then maybe not for you.

The experience, the greenhouse and the pool were our highlights

The parking was not great, as the hill climb is a challenge

The accommodation is truly unique. The villa is well equipped and clean. We loved the dinner! Make sure you book it! The pool is also nice and especially our kids loved it. The team is super nice and are their love for the place is all around! ❤️❤️

Nothing unfortunately. Pictures need updating everything looked very tired and run down. The lovely man that helps run it was very sweet.

Same as above, a lot smaller than it looks too. Car is very far away from where you stay and it it’s up and down a huge dusty hill to get from car to room. Also didn’t feel safe for two young girls to be driving on a dirt road to the campesite.

Amazing hosts who run a range of custom accommodations with different personalities. Our artsy custom owl caravan came with a lovely barked garden, braai station, and a separate living area in a greenhouse. The stop was really a highlight of our garden route trip and should have stayed more than one night. The hosts were really easy to communicate with and even allowed us to drop off some bags early so we could go hiking without worrying about the car. The bedroom was insanely comfortable and the kitchen was really well equipped, despite being small it was really all we needed. Treedom was the type of place that convinces you to go barefoot - and we enjoyed it, I hope we return soon!!

Der Zigeunerwagen, und das dazugehörige Greenhouse, Ourdoorbett, waren wirklich schön und originell und romatisch.

Die Bilder der Webseite gehören der Vergangenheit an, Das Areal ist heruntergekommen und ungepflegt. Es gibt 2 weitere Zigeunerwagen, die sich wohl schon länger im Bau befinden, Der sogenannte Lichtertunnel war weder beleuchtet noch wurde uns das angefragte und zugesagte Xmas Dinner ermöglicht. Am Tag unserer Ankunft wusste man von der Anfrage nichts mehr und machte auch keinen Anstalten, etwas zu organisieren, Das war nicht das, was ich mit für Weihnachten vorgestellt habe, zumal alle Restaurants am 25.12. geschlossen hatten. Ich hatte dann noch 2 x Frühstück bestellt, was 1 x kam, in Form von Müsli, und einem Toast vollbepackt mit Rührei und einer Bratwurst, die nur so triefte - keine Frage zuvor, was wir gerne hätten. Für das am darauf folgenden Tag bestellte Frühstück, nur Müsli, wurde mir am Abend zuvor um 20h noch per Whats App bestätigt, erfolgte aber nicht. Bei der Nachfrage wusste man mal wieder von nichts, und hat es mit einem Missverständnis abgetan. Es fand 3 Tage kein Housekeeping statt, weder wurde sauber gemacht noch wurde irgendetwas wie Kaffee ( Milch gab es sowieso keine) aufgefüllt. Nicht mal einen Toaster, um diesen hatte ich dann gebeten, und er wurde auch gebracht, allerdings mussten wir diesen erst mal gründlich vom Schmutz befreien. Lagerfeuer wurde grosszügig angeboten, was höchst fahrlässig bei dem trockenen Umgebung mit Büschen und Bäumen ist. Ein Funke und es brennt - und dann hat man verloren - da die ganze Umgebung so ausschaut. Die Wege zur Wagen waren steil und uneben, und bei Nacht wenig bis gar nicht beleuchtet. Die Laternen am Zigeunerwagen, alle durchgerostet und kaputt. Eigentlich ist der Platz ein Juwel, aber es genügt eben nicht, nur Ideen zu haben und alles unter das Motto "Love" zu stellen, ohne das man selber Hand anlegt. Hanging around war mehr das Motto. Die Krönung war dann noch der Preis für das so genannte Frühstück, 400 RD....
