Black Forest Bike Hostel

The landlord was very welcoming and kind. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable, if a little small for four people. Everything was very clean, and the shower was nice and strong. Kirchzarten is a lovely little town, a much quieter alternative to Freiburg, with good transit connections there and to the surrounding countryside. It was easy to walk everywhere. The bakery cafe across the street from the hostel is first-rate!

The wifi in the apartment was too weak for a video meeting, so I did my work meeting in the deserted lobby, where the wifi was much stronger. The pillows were oddly lumpy and the duvet covers a bit scratchy, but the mattresses were comfortable.

Sauber kleine hübsche Zimmer. Neben der Fahrradgarage gibt es noch einen kleinen Garten.

Für mich als Öffi-Nutzerin ist die Nähe der Unterkunft zu Bussen (zum Schauinsland u.a.) und S-Bahn unschlagbar, zumal man die Konus-card erhält. Der Besitzer ist einfach sympathisch und professionell, bei Bedarf jederzeit ansprechbar, er erhörte meine kleinen Wünsche rasch und klaglos, herzlichen Dank! Das Zimmer ist ruhig, freundlich gestaltet, hell, mit großer Fensterfront (was in Hitzeperioden stundenweise nicht nur positiv ist). Da ich Wiederholungstäterin bin, sind weitere Zufriedenheitsstatements in den Vorjahren nachzulesen.

Todo, desde la atención del anfitrión, siempre atento y dándonos consejos de ir a sitios, que no son tan conocidos para el turista, pero muy bonitos. La limpieza de la habitación.

Marco was there to check us in and the room was clean and ready for our arrival. We were a little concerned about a shared bath which was the only room available when we booked, but ended up not being an issue. The separate shower and toilet were always clean and almost always available when needed ;0) Marco was extremely helpful and gave us wonderful tips for our visit on where to go and what to see. The location was ideal for trips into the forest and also for time in the city of Freiburg. The Bike Hostel was our favorite stay in the Black Forest!
