Black Forest Bike Hostel

The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean.

The host was very friendly, trustworthy and relaxed. There was no rush to take payment from us and was also kind enough to take our rubbish bags from us as we were leaving. The top floor apartment is very spacious, clean and in a beautiful location.

Nothing comes to mind. We didnt cook here, so cannot comment on the kitchen usability.

We have stayed at the Black Forest Bike Hostel twice for business trips with a group of three, experiencing both the Kandel and Panorama rooms. The Kandel room offered an excellent quality/price ratio, while the Panorama room provided unparalleled comfort, a stunning view, and the charming sight of a stork nest, making it ideal for work. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the location allowed us to unwind in the beautiful Black Forest.

Kirchzarten is a beautiful village surrounded by gorgeous scenery. It’s a short train ride into busier Freiburg and easy access to Black Forest attractions. The hostel was great value with the ability to cook if you want to.

Nothing negative to say. The only slight inconvenience is shared bathroom and toilet but we never struck it too busy.

The staff was super friendly and efficient! The location is perfect to visit Freiburg and surroundings.
