River Hills Hotel- Mankato

breakfast was very good. beds slept well. room had frig, stove and etc. well furnished.

There was gum stuck in chair where top meets bottom, room was cold when arrived so turned cool fan from on to auto; but during the night the fan started with a boom each time so turned back to on, but had to listen to it all night; a fan was right outside room door could of tripped on it if not watching carefully; during night loud noises like ice falling on wall and dog foot patters; security lock on door was broke couldn't use. ice maker didn't make ice from before night till next morn.; had gotten a little baggy from desk; message light was always flashing and no messages for us.

Beds were terrible. We ended up sleeping on the leather couch which wasn't much better. Mold all over the shower curtain. Dirty dishes. No Ice machine which I thought was odd. Toilet barely flushed. No breakfast, no pool, no hot tub. I didn't see 1 staff member the entire 2 nights/3 days we were there(my husband only seen 1 at check In). The price for the quality of everything was outrageous. I wouldn't stay here again.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the beds were comfortable.

There was no hot breakfast. There was bread and bagels in ziplock bags, but they weren’t dated so you just had to hope they were put out fresh that day. There was a community jug of milk for the cereal. The room smelled like must and cigarette smoke. There was a decent sized gap between the door and the frame which made the room feel less safe. The windowsills were absolutely disgusting and I found old candy between the bed and bedside table. All of the TVs were Roku so in order to watch you have to create a Roku account and then sign into your own streaming apps. It was not worth the work for one night so we ended up just watching our phones.

Lobby was nicely decorated for the holiday. Staff was pleasant.

Our room was not “deluxe” and looked nothing like what was pictured. The toilet was broken and we had to reach in to the toilet to flush. The beds were hard, pillows were cheap. One of the beds was broken in the middle. The seating area consisted of one single chair.

Very clean, kept up bright and cheery

Very nice hotel the entire hotel looked like it just had a major remodel. Everything was great, my room was very comfortable, great location

The room we booked wasn’t available. There was a portable fan blowing in our hallway. Our room smelled bad. There was MOLD on our chairs. The carpet was old and torn up. We did not even put our stuff in our room. The hotel refused a refund. And we had to make the ultimate choice not to stay there. Black mold on windows. Unknown substance on door to room!
