Was spotless clean, well equipped, close to the city centre and the staff were really helpful. Being completely dog friendly was brilliant

The only way to improve is a minor non-issue, but could have done with a drainer by the sink as we had to dry things as we washed up

Really good place to stay Away a wee bit from.the Hub bub of the city centre but a 10 mins walk to the town centre Staff excellent throughout and our room on third floor nice and quiet throughout .croissants and coffee in the morning a nice wee bonus too to start the day off well Staff take a genuine interest in the guest throughout from the Managers to the desk staff and the cleaning staff Will be back . Great viewover the River Ouse too free

All round excellent feedback. Location was great, check in easy, clean facilities that met all needs including fridge/microwave. The bed was comfy and area was quiet for good sleep. Exercise room was great and right on the river with a lovely path for a run in the morning. Pubs just round the corner are great for a beer. Walked along the wall from the station. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others visiting the area.

Great air conditioning as we went during the heat wave , bed was comfy, shower was amazing

Slippy shower floor could use a mat or grip texture, heated bathroom mirror caused the bathroom to be unbearably hot , I couldn't find how to turn it off,

Stayed for 3 nights for a gig at the Barbican. So glad we stayed for the extra nights. View. Service. Room. Facilities. Location. Proximity to best pub ever. General great time had in York added to by staying in this great hotel. All 5 out of 5. Can’t wait to go back.
