Ottima colazione.

Mi sono piaciuti molto gli host, sono simpatici, alla mano, cortesi e ci hanno dato tante informazioni sui posti da visitare e dove mangiare.

Everything about this stay felt personal and cared for. The house is beautiful—peaceful, full of character, and just remote enough to feel like a secret. Alva and Roberto are incredible hosts who welcomed us like old friends, helped us with dinner reservations, and even gave us a ride back up the hill after our meal. The location is quiet and tucked above the town, surrounded by herbs and views, with easy access to Filetto and the fantastic Locanda all’Antico Mulino. Breakfast was perfect—fresh pastries, strong coffee, and a conversation about Italian history with Roberto that we didn’t want to end. A warm, storybook-perfect stay with real hospitality and real heart—an unforgettable stop on the Via Francigena. Grazie mille, Alva and Roberto. We’ll never forget your kindness—or the view from the Gingerbread House.

Honestly, nothing. Just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

accueil de la proprietaire tres sympa, on est vraiment chez eux (faut aimer : tres convivial mais moyennement intime) chambre tres bien, confortable tout est a la bonne franquette, un B2B italien comme on adore. j'y suis allé avec mobn chien, pas de supplément et en plus elle s'en est occupée pendant que je dechargeais la voiture.

je n'avais pas vu en reservant, mais la salle de bain est partagée. au demeurant impeccablement propre!!

Excellent place for an overnight stay on the Via Francigena. Caring host, nice room, good shower, nice breakfast, excellent restaurant nearby.
