Gingerbread Home

The host is very friendly and speaks English. He offered to take us to town to a restaurant but three unexpected drop in guests arrived and he was unexpectedly busy. We walked to a restaurant and later phoned the owner to be picked up. The room was comfortable and we had our own bathroom. Breakfast was sparse due to the unexpected guests but the owner made us scrambled eggs which was appreciated. He offered to drive us to the via Francigena but it wasn’t far away so we walked.

We showered sitting in a bath so as not to wet the floor.

The breakfast was very good, served with care and kindness. It was a great pleasure to talk to the hosts. They were very helpful in every respect. The place was very quiet and comfortable.

For me this was a perfect stay, a perfect accommodation

Eine sehr schöne, ruhige Wohnung. Nette Gastgeber, die sich um alles kümmern, was benötigt wird. Der Hausherr spricht 4 Sprachen, Italienisch, Englisch, Französisch und deutsch. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen, ein tolles Frühstück mit Erzeugnissem aus dem eigenen Garten rundet den Aufenthalt ab. Leckere Lokale gibt es in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto. Gibt nichts auszusetzen, alles sehr gut

Roberto et sa femme sont absolument adorables. Ils préparent le petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de produits fait maison. Ils nous ont invités le soir à une fête de village à quelques km, c'était une superbe soirée.

Viaggio per lavoro e per svago. Ho "girato" tutta l'Italia oltre che il mondo. Posso dire che la proprietaria era molto cordiale e spontanea. L'ambiente era assolutamente domestico, familiare. La stanza è costata meno della media del luogo per la stagione considerata.

La stanza era piccola e non c'era la tv, ma l'ambiente era decisamente grazioso. Alcune criticità, che a mio avviso potrebbero essere risolte con un pochino di accortezza in più. L'armadio era capiente, peccato che era occupato da libri e vestiti di qualcun altro. Voglio credere che avendo prenotato per una sola notte avranno pensato che non lo avremmo utilizzato. La cosa che non ci è piaciuta è stata l'immagine di un uomo sulla 40ina o poco più (probabilmente il figlio della proprietaria, che avevamo già intravisto affacciato al balcone in pantaloncini a torso nudo; era stata affittata solo un'altra stanza da una ragazza) che girava per gli ambienti condivisi dagli ospiti con l'asciugamano avvolto intorno alla vita dopo aver fatto presumibilmente una doccia. Capisco che il bagno sia condiviso (cosa che effettivamente è segnalata su booking, anche se poco chiara), ma non sono abituato a ritrovarmi i proprietari o i suoi parenti che mi girano per casa, giustamente anche in tutta libertà, mentre usufruisco dell'alloggio. Ma il prezzo è basso rispetto alla media. Forse se uno pretende, deve spendere un pochino di più effettivamente. Nel complesso accettabile. Merita una sufficienza.
