Renaissance New Orleans Arts Warehouse District Hotel

The location is great. We felt like it was a safe location and easy to walk to areas.

Nice hotel, clean, good staff, nice restaurant/bar, pretty good workout facillity

Called the front desk for assistance with working the tv. Chromecast was not working in our room due to a broken HDMI cord we were told someone from the hotel staff would bring a new cord. No one ever came to assist with the problem. Lack in good customer service overall.

Visiting/scouting hotels for wedding rooms and venue to host 200 people. Stopped to inquire and noticed they had a restaurant. It was 12:40pm decided to eat lunch first. Coco the hostess was not welcoming. 2 tables occupied she attempted to seat us at a table in back; told us that she could not seat us in a better location because she may get a lunch rush, again only 2 tables occupied at 12:40. Coco was smug and again told me she could not seat us at a nicer 4 top due to lunch time lunch rush. Special note, the 2 occupied tables were 4tops and had 2 people seated at each. We left and ate at a restaurant across the street. The restaurant across the street actually had a lunch rush as their restaurant was full. And the hostess was very welcoming. After we finished lunch we walked past the Renaissance restaurant and noticed they had 5 tables. Nice lunch rush. Coco needs training. Needless to say we will not be considering this hotel for our reception or lodging needs.

Room was spacious, the staff was helpful and friendly.

I had to check out at 3 a.m. to catch a plane home. The front desk person was running the report and could not give me a receipt. I left my email address to be able to send it to me later. As of today, I have not received a receipt for any of the 6 days I stayed there

Outside operator of bar and restaurant, restaurant staff poor, food very poor. Cold cooked breakfast one morning.

Overall experience was great, my only complain is the lack of information from some staff members, they fail to tell how the wi-fi worked, how we didn't had to pay if we sign up to the marriot vonboy club, or how we can have a refund because the page charged us even when we didn't agree to pay for said wi-fi, the response from the staff was just: it charges you when you put your info, you need to wait at the end of your stay to check for a refund. Next day I tried with another staff and it was a whole different world: she informed us of the club sign in, processed our refund and so on. Other staff also didn't know (or didn't tell us) how the transport worked in the area, just advised us to download the transport app, but a little insights of what kind of transport is in the area would've been great. So to summarize: hotel was great, nice room, nice location, staff needs to have some more training sessions on how the hotel and the city works

Stayed 9/14, one night. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Convenient to good restaurants and services. Fairly safe area as compared to other parts of New Orleans. For the most part, employees were polite and courteous, but when I asked questions, they explained things very fast. I god a good rate, but I thought valet parking was fairly high, $50+. All in all, if I were in the area I would stay here again and I would recommend.
