Super 8 by Wyndham Beaumont I-10 South/College St

The bed was hard as a board! After 5 nights of sleeping on it, my hips & shoulders were really hurting!! No overhead light & low wattage bulbs in the lamp made for a dark room. The tub/shower control was very stiff & hard to turn on. The caulking around the edges of the tub was very inexpertly applied & moldy looking. The hot water was scalding hot, & I had to be very careful not to burn myself! For such a "thrifty" operation, I couldn't understand why they wouldn't turn the boiler temperature down to a reasonable level & save a few dollars that way!! I'm pretty sure that sooner or later, someone is going to get severely burned & then they'll have a lawsuit on their hands!! It truly is dangerously hot!!! The breakfast buffet was very inadequate; no meat or eggs. Nothing but cereal, muffins & waffles. In other words; just a lot of starchy foods. Not good for a diabetic! I ate there the 1st morning & that was enough!! The staff was mostly friendly, but some were hard to understand. Overall, not a positive experience. I won't be staying there again!

Horrible facility. The Manager kicked me and my child out, extremely hostile, rude, disgusting half cleaned bathrooms, rust in the showers No Television and to top it off The phones aren’t even hooked up. I got kicked out because I payed online through Expedia and got somewhat of a nice deal for two days. Well the manager insisted for me to pay an extra fee of $15 for early check in and I refused since I had already been checked in the day before. I refused to check out and check back in just to pay an extra fee. Why should I pay extra when I had already checked in at 12:50pm the day before. I truly thought that was highly uncalled for and I’ve never hear of a hotel manager charge extra and insist on trying to get me to check out and checked right back in when I had already stayed. The environment was fealty, dogs barking , rust in the bath tubs, tv that don’t work, dusty all over the furniture, rooms smelled like armpits and just to make you feel even more comfortable? The fact that you can’t used the phone that sits there for display. They didn’t even have a phone line to make or receive calls. Horrible I do not recommend

Nothing it was terrible not safe needs to be shut tf down

The room was updated and clean, very comfortable. Staff very helpful.
