Winter Park Mountain Lodge

The shower didn't work. It was a drop down handle shower that was broken and spraying all over. I had to leave my room at 6am because of work, so there was no time to resolve things. Not too happy. I will not go back for the price.

Location was okay, but you can't walk across to the resort due to the highway.

No bath soap left for us in the room, only one coffee "pod" left for two people. Worst was that they false advertise ---we were really looking forward to a long hot tub after a day of skiing, and apparently both hot tubs have been broken for a while now. They advertise the "sauna" which the desk worker told us hasn't been opened in years. Maybe be honest on your website.

After reading some of the other reviews, I was hesitant to stay here, but I am glad I ended up staying here. If you are looking for an affordable, clean, and great location in Winter Park then I would recommend staying here. The location is across the street from the lifts. You can’t walk over there because a highway separates the resort and hotel, but they do have shuttles that run every 20 minutes and is a 10 minute ride over. The room has a decent size fridge/freezer combo and a microwave. My bathroom was fully stocked with towels, and there were blankets in the closet if you get cold. Also, you can easily change the temperature in your room to your liking. The staff at the front desk were super nice so I am not sure why others have stated that they were rude. The only thing I would agree on with other reviewers, is that it’s a little outdated, but honestly it didn’t bother me. I have stayed at some really nice hotels (i.e. Broadmoor) and some not so nice hotels, so I feel I have some good comparisons. I would recommend staying here. Try to not get sucked into the bad reviews.

shower / bath needs an upgrade had the room cleaned the first 2 nights but then not again till we left the spa wasnt hot , warm at best and the 2 times we went there was a large clump of hair floating around i had to throw out.

Fantastic stay. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful! The accommodations were good and you can’t beat the location. Moffat Station was a fun restaurant and bar with excellent service and food. Overall great trip and can’t wait to come back. Thank you!

Hot tubs yellowing and barely working. Waited half hour for coffee in the AM.
