Winter Park Mountain Lodge

If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, then this hotel might work for you, but don’t expect much beyond that. I’m not sure when those nice photos were taken, but the hotel really needs an update. I booked a mountain view room, but the glass was so dirty that the view was nearly impossible to appreciate. Upon arrival, the bed wasn’t even made, and I had to ask the staff to fix it. The bed itself was almost falling apart, and the bedding was far from impressive. The pool and hot tub were disgusting—clearly not maintained—so I decided not to use them. Although they accept dogs, they don’t allow them in any other area of the hotel, not even a designated dog-friendly space to relieve them. For the price, I expected much more. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is the location.

The location and view are great. The property is in need of a major updating.

The smell of marijuana was overwhelming at times. This a place where family comes. They don’t want their kids to be smelling this stuff or be around it.

The hotel needs a little TLC and updating. Cosmetic repairs needed. The hot tubs were not really hot (proper temperature) and the Sauna was locked and not available

The property was convenient to skiing other than that I can’t say anything positive. It was rundown. The hot tubs weren’t working and we asked about them. They said they never worked. The sheets on the bed were so thin you could see through them. The place is a major need of updates and repairs.

Its a cheap way to stay near the lifts but tv didnt work, room wasnt cleaned and elevators took 10 minutes. Very bare bones "lodge".

The place needs a lot of renovations

Zero stars for noise control and management response. Dogs barked constantly, day and night, throughout the hotel. The most frustrating part was the management's complete lack of concern. They ignored repeated complaints. Do not expect a peaceful stay at this hotel.
