Castlerosse Park Resort

Gorgeous property and the food was amazing!!

There were spiders and spider webs all over our room, the cups in the room were dirty but we had cups from McDonald’s so we used them. Room smelt musty and shut up.The property was beautiful but our room was not as we expected for such a nice resort and area surrounding. We are hotel hopping all around Ireland and this place has by far been the dirtiest place we stayed.

Beautiful grounds . We barely enjoyed the hotel since we only spent one night but I can see the quality of golfing and fine eating here . Reception desk very kind

Decor was quite old fashioned, particularly the bathroom. The rooms are very hot with no fans (even after asking reception). Location is around 5 minute drive out of Killarney city centre Beautiful view in the parlour room but doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel

We spent one night here. The room was clean and large for 3 adults. No air conditioning and when we asked for a fan for the room we were told there were none! Quite warm in room!! We booked a table in the dining room as we read in the hotel information leaflet that this is a special experience. Well we were disappointed. The food was good but the service was poor. Half way there the meal they started setting up for breakfast it was like being in a canteen The location is fantastic but I would say it’s a 3 star hotel. Good for families but a bit of let down for us

Had an amazing stay in this beautiful hotel. Staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast really good with wonderful options. Within walking distance of Killarney town centre.

We stayed here for one night during a tour of southern Ireland. We asked for an accessible room as my wife is in a wheelchair and in that regard it was the best equipped hotel we stayed in during our week away. The room and bathroom was very spacious and the walk-in shower meant that my wife was able to have her only shower of the week. We had a nice evening meal in the Dining Room, which has a great view across the Killarney National Park. If using the swimming pool you do need a bathing hat, which caught me out but the staff in the spa were very helpful and loaned me one. The swimming pool changing room was a bit disappointing and could have been cleaner.

Was a great location for what we were looking to do. The room was spacious and so modern and clean along with the bathroom which would be our first preference as we’re out all day hiking and love a spacious room with a comfortable bed and good bathroom and shower 🙋‍♀️ Will definitely return again and will try the golfing on the hotel grounds along with dinner in the bar this time rather than restaurant. Everything was just as we needed and as I’m a local lady anyway and first time here it most certainly won’t be our last thank you ☺️

The property is a bit tired, but a very comfortable stay. Staff were very accommodating, and the grounds and surrounding area are stunning. I’d recommend asking for a room facing the golf course/ mountain
