Holiday Inn & Suites Goodyear - West Phoenix Area by IHG

I'm a hotel snob since I discovered Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express. They have always been my favorite brand. They are always clean, well appointed, peaceful and comfortable, especially those awsome beds! The best bang for the buck.

The housekeeping supervisor was absolutely amazing. Front desk staff very pleasant. Room decor is very bland. Could use brightening up with pictures and floral arrangements

The hotel and room were very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower pressure was amazing. The washer and dryer worked great both times I used them.

I was disappointed that I had made the mistake that breakfast was "onsite", not included, but that's on me. The mini shop, specifically laundry products were expensive. $8 for one box of tide and one 2 pack of dryer sheets is ridiculous. The room was LOUD next to the freeway, it was hard to sleep personally. The inroom TV didn't offer much for kids.

The refrigerator and microwave did not work and at 12:40 am was woken up by the fire alarm going off from a fire in the restaurant kitchen. Other then that it was close to everything! Apparently there was mold in our bathroom.

I was very impressed by the staff at this hotel. I foolishly did not note the check-in time when I booked my stay, and arrived 3 hours before my room was supposed to be ready. Thankfully, when I called the front desk the manager was Camila, who quickly arranged for my wife and I to check into a newly cleaned suite within 10 minutes. Unfortunately, our rooms smelled faintly of tobacco smoke, even after we ran the AC for an hour. Once again, Camila patiently listened to my concerns and quickly accomodated my request to relocate, and within 3 minutes I moved across the corridor into a spotless and odorless suite.

kim, Cam, and the newest addition Breanna are GREAT! They take good care of me. It’s always a great stay. They always make it feel like home.
