Riviera del Sol

Property and staff were wonderful, the only thing is they clean the room and make your bed but do not wash the covers during your stay. Although clean the pillows had a humid slight dirty smell. So we slept without pillows, but beds were extremely comfortable.

This place was a lot more tired then what the photos made out. We were hoping for cute, romantic and authentic in style with access to a bar and light food. What we got was old bare linen and towels, unstaffed bar and basic food on offer for breakfast that seemed expensive. The staff were nice and helpful. Even though it was rundown it was still clean. Next time I'd spend more and stay elsewhere.

We really liked our stay at Riviera del sol! The staff is very nice, the hotel room is very clean, and the beds are soft and comfortable. We most likely will be going back next year

For a beach hotel in Playa del Carmen, I rate this hotel as excellent. Super clean, excellent location, excellent services, everything worked well. Would book again.

Best location in playa del Carmen. Everything is in walking distance and quite at night during sleep hours considering it is really noisy area. Friendly staff. Highly recommend this hotel.

Good hotel for the price. I would stay here again. Clean, cold ac, everything worked. Pool was also nice. Relaxing environment. Good breakfast.

Love the place. The lady on the front desk give us very good recommendations. Comfortable beads, clean room and ok location. There is a bar close by, it closes about 3 am, but is not that bad.
