The Ranch at Laguna Beach

The Ranch at Laguna Beach is absolutely stunning and the perfect location for our 3-night Family Gathering of 40 people, ranging in age from 90 years to 2 months. The property is tucked into a peaceful canyon surrounded by nature, making if feel like a hidden oasis just minutes from the beach. The staff is warm and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed. We booked a mix of Cottage Two Bedroom Suites and Canyon Rooms near to the pool. The Ranch provides the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure---whether enjoying the pool, playing golf, visiting the nearby beach, dining on delicious locally inspired food, or just soaking in the serenity of the setting.

Beautiful resort hotel...stunning views! staff was great, treated guests with professionalism and friendly smiles! Food was top notch! Make reservations for Harvest as is quite the popular place in Laguna Beach! Always can eat same menu at the Bar inside if you missed out which we had to do one night but not a problem. Outside restaurant had good music entertainment. Golf cart Shuttle to beach was great! bring your own towels, they have chairs and umbrellas you can pick up once you arrive. The beach café serves really good cocktails!!! Food is pretty decent too. Restrooms and washstands outside. Beach is pretty and lifeguards right along side of the restaurant. Poolside at hotel serves a nice menu and great cocktails! Kids can be annoying though as there is not family pool, other than that it is a lovely place to stay for a few days.

My favorite place to stay in Laguna! Rooms, location , access to beach w the shuttle and close to town, this place has it all. Great food and entertainment every night , plus golf and a spa! There were many children there as it’s summer but I’d say it’s great for couples (or parents who mind their children:) 10/10 recommend! Steve at tiki bar and Maria at front desk are amazing! Made my trip :)

Filled out survey for review and said everything needed to say. The Ranch is gorgeous and we enjoyed our short stay - issues with lack of marshal on the golf course, lack of assistance in the golf shop to see if we could play as a twosome, without another twosome was disappointing. We understand that it is only 9 holes, but lack of moving slower players creates frustration and there was no indication that the golf shop was concerned.

Entire estate was beautiful including the golf course. Three meals in three days were great at Harvest, Lost pier, and The patios snack bar. The green fees are overpriced; no discount for the room guest.. The Customer Service who made my multiple tee time in advance were kind and fast. The starter was very friendly and kind gentleman.. We as a local couple had a wonderful three nights Summer vacation.

The Rach is a wonderful place to stay with great food and the golf course is emerald green, we enjoyed our stay there and looking forward to do it again soon.

Very nice heated pool area . Nicely shaded grounds with canyon setting . Easy walk on the path way down to alesio beach where you can get chairs and umbrellas at lost pier cafe showing your room key . Pricey restaurants on hotel site but the food was very good .

This is one of many trips to The ranch. We come back because of the excellent service, beautiful rooms and wonderful restaurant. We celebrated our anniversary and birthdays with two of our children started with cocktails at the fire pit and moved in for a wonderful dinner with the help of Sal and Scott.The food was excellent as always. Will be back.

Great hotel with a unique independent feel. Service was great with a very friendly front desk. They really do strive to make your stay as great as possible. The room was great, nicely decorated and felt clean. The food was excellent and the service was too. We ate breakfast and dinner there and did not run out of options. The complimentary shuttle was a nice touch. I’d definitely recommend for golfers and non golfers too.

Hi Kurt, I came for a wedding and was absolutely blown away. From your team’s hospitality, to the beauty, to how comfortable the bed was, to how well I played on the greens ;), it was perfect. I was particularly impressed with your team’s commitment to sustainability. All the little things down to the wooden room key. The only feedback I have is the valet paper ticket hurt, from what I value in staying at sustainably-focused resorts. The team mentioned you tried to go paperless before with a legacy system not able to compete with the speed, which I get! I think the Ranch should consider Chexology, as I believe it’s a perfect fit. While talking to the team, I received excitement about how Chexology integrates with Alice and Opera Cloud to quickly search and add guests to tie them to their vehicle/luggage to beat the speed of the paper process. Coming back the week of the 25th and hope the team considers this sustainable alternative!
