The Ranch at Laguna Beach

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. Made a reservation for this hotel at priceline this morning. Within five minute of booking the hotel, i realized i made a mistake (mistake is all on me, i should have double checked) and then tried to change the date to a week earlier. However, then I have had a very frustrating time since then. First, there is no way to change the date at priceline website. Priceline website said I have to call Ranch. I called Ranch and was told to contact priceline, because the reservation can only be changed through priceline. I talked to Sebastian and another person at priceline and was told that they cannot reach the Ranch, which is kind of ridiculous, because I just talked with the very friendly Riley at the Ranch for three times. Riley at the Ranch has been very friendly and patient with me. However, the system of booking through priceline for the Ranch is absolutely HORRIBLE. WILL NEVER BOOK from PRICELINE again, i guess that is how companies like PRICELINE gets the "easy" money from the customers, i am surprised how business like the PRICELINE even exists.

The lady at the front desk : language barrier and she did not know what The Sawdust Festival is, and she was in charge of transportation. Very curt and snippy.

We had an amazing stay at The Ranch at Laguna Beach. All the staff were very attentive. We loved the rocking chairs on the balcony, the pool area, the golf carts rides to the beach and the Lost Cafe for sunset. It was incredible.

wonderful spot with great restaurant, pool and spa. Super location close to the beach, shops and restaurants but secluded and quiet and peaceful!

The room and hotel service were quite good, with easy access to the beach and a great view. However, the server at Harvest Restaurant had a very poor attitude and was quite unprofessional. I would not recommend dining there.

The Ranch is the most lovely hidden gem, located right in Laguna Beach, yet a world away! It was the perfect Anniversary weekend! This resort offers unique experiences such as Friday night star gazing and visits to the resort's sweet little farm! We enjoyed time at the pool and a trip to Aliso Beach, chairs, umbrellas & towels compliments of the resort. Harvest, the primary restaurant on property is beautiful, great service & good food! The porch & Ben's pantry, both outdoors offered yummy lighter fare and the Lost Pier Cafe at the beach was a fun window service sandwich & snack option. Portions were generously sized at all the venues. The rooms are decorated in the California ranch style. The housekeeping staff are A#1!!! Staff from valet & reception to the pool service, housekeeping, restaurant hostesses & servers, groundskeepers & farm staff were ALL so friendly & helpful! We're looking forward to returning soon!! The Ranch is our new favorite get awayj!!

Nice, convenient rooms to all amenities. Pool and hot tub clean and right temperatures. Really only one restaurant at hotel but could get food delivered pretty much any where on campus. Great AC in each room. Don’t need to golf to enjoy the stay here.

We were warmly welcomed at check-in by a lovely staff member—Sage, I believe—who made a great first impression. The bellhop was helpful initially, but later behaved unprofessionally during our stay. There was no poolside service, which is unacceptable for a resort of this caliber. The pool area was also extremely loud, filled with screaming children. For a Four Diamond-rated property, an adult-only pool with service is highly recommended. We did enjoy the live music before dinner on the deck overlooking the golf course, and the grounds themselves were beautiful. The fitness center was excellent, and our dinner experience was a highlight—our waiter was outstanding. The fresh uni, oysters, branzino, and fruit were all delicious. Unfortunately, the ribeye was inedible, despite being cooked to the correct temperature. The fresh flowers throughout the property were a lovely touch. The massage was wonderful, but the infrared sauna was not functioning as it should—it wasn’t sealed properly, so it never reached the highest temperature. It took over an hour to reach just 150°F. Also, more showers should be added to the women’s lounge. The hotel room, patio, and parking were all comfortable and convenient. However, due to the lack of professionalism from some staff and other major disappointments, we will not be recommending your property to our friends in Montecito—unless we receive a proper apology from hotel management. This level of service was simply unacceptable.

Amazing grounds and beautiful views!! Rooms were clean and rustic. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Poland onsite facilities amazing. If your a golfer the 9 hole course was very well maintained and very busy!! Lots of staff who were falling over each other to greet and assist you.

Very different and fun!
