A lovely lovely building with old(er) world charm and so comfortable. Warm and cozy, yet elegant. Cookies every afternoon in the lobby, live music from cool musicians every single night, chilled towels in the gym (not to mention a really good margarita). The tasteful, warm lighting and colors throughout the building. These little details all add up to an exceptional experience.

The hotel overall is a wonderful location and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, I had a gift bag that had been given to me and was in the room and the cleaning team threw it away. When I spoke to the front desk about it, they told me they would ship it to me at my expense if they found it and that they would call after looking for it. I waited for them to speak with staff and look for it and when I left the hotel, they told me they would call with an update. I never heard from them. It’s shocking that a hotel of this stature with throw away your personal items and treat it as a small issue.

Spacious rooms. From the bellman to the valet top notch. Only issue was our room wasn’t ready and was told we would get a call when it was and our luggage would be sent to our room. When we got there looks like there was a different front desk person and our things were still sitting in the lobby. They redeemed themselves with an amazing room service breakfast. Best Eggs Benedict if ever had. Plus the bar in the restaurant had top notch service.

I booked a prepaid room at Raphael Hotel via AMX and upon arrival was told it was unavailable due to overbooking. No help offered. Took 2 hours to find last-minute Airbnb. Unacceptable service. Be warned—your reservation may mean nothing.

Beautiful hotel, clean, smelled amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating was a great area to relax and have a few drinks!

Great hotel on the beautiful Plaza in KC. Very friendly staff, very clean, amenities were great. Stayed at several hotels on the Plaza, this being my favorite
