"As advertised…"

We wanted to find a cool and unique hotel for a night as we traveled through to Colorado. This was exactly what we hoped for. My 4 young children were impressed and had the time of their lives. The access to the park and restaurants made it ideal. We were treated like royalty!

My spouse and I stayed this weekend at the Raphael Hotel. From check-in with the wonderful Amy to check-out, we had a perfect experience. We appreciated being met by such a friendly and welcoming person. We also really enjoyed the nice waiter in the restaurant from Morrocco. Both of these people truly exemplify the ethos of service that Mr. Marriott stood for when he founded this company. We ate breakfast there both days and it was excellent. Loved the homemade oatmeal. Best ever!! The exercise room was well equipped. We have nothing but good things to say about this place. This is an older, elegant hotel that is well taken care of. Thank you for the great service. We are Lifetime Platinum Elite Members, and this hotel is right at the top of the many Marriott family hotels we have stayed at.

"Historic plaza building lives on"

The overall stay was ok. Management was attentive and the facility as a whole well cared for in a historic building.. There was an unexpected disturbing issue with the cleanliness of the bedding which management quickly addressed. The rest of the stay went well. Perhaps just an isolated incident. .

Beautiful old hotel. I've stayed there several times. Staff was great at check in.

Internet wasn't working. Only one elevator operating caused long delays. Restaurant for breakfast was awful. Staff didn't know what they were doing, food wasn't very good either. Disappointed, quality of service has gone way down. Probably won't stay there again.
