Jasper Inn & Suites by INNhotels

This is a decent hotel for families if you bring your own breakfast food. The pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room are the main attraction. It is generally clean (staff are constantly cleaning rooms and washing bedding in plain sight). The "oven" listed for the kitchenette is actually a convection microwave, and it worked well. The beds are adequately comfortable, but could be better.

Breakfast buffet is $22/adult (slightly cheaper for children under 14), and isn't much better than free breakfasts at other hotels. Parking is limited and crowded. There is no elevator access to second floor rooms: stairs only. The hotel is dark & dated, and room views are mostly of parking or other buildings. The room temperature is not easily adjustable: too cold during the day and too warm at night. The unit is not sound-proof, and you can hear everything happening in the hallway. The loft-style rooms have a steep, narrow staircase to the second floor. The CO detector in the livingroom area shot a white beam at regular intervals throughout the night. Water for showers or the kitchen sink must run a long while before it is warm. There is no dishwasher, and inadequate meal seating or cutlery for a family of four. Units have a wood burning fireplace, but it seems doubtful that many people would use it.

Suite was large, well-equipped, well-maintained, and very comfortable.

Lack of elevator to third floor

Excellent complementary breakfast , jacuzzi & steam room good. Across the road from small shopping mall. Great sized rooms

Train track nearby

Really comfortable bed and space exactly as described. Washing machine facilities were really handy as I was towards the end of my trip. It is a bit out of town, a good 20 min walk but there is a restaurant on site
