The Fold Hotels Steamboat Springs

Property itself was really nice and clean. Loved the Safeway right across the street. Only bad thing was the ladies that were at the front desk were not really letting us know anything, and had to ask them for basic information. I would have loved to know since the beginning, that part of the property was under construction which also meant that some of the amenities were not available.

Paola was sweet and helpful. she had to come to our room the first night and it took 15 minutes to get our television to stream yet we could not get it to stream last night and the office was closed. We reserved a 2 bedroom and full kitchen which had the bare minimum and not even salt or pepper. The room has been updated and is clean but sparse and cold. The couch and chair in the living room are hard and uncomfortable to relax on. We requested a late check out via text at approximately 7:30 PM the night before, and received no response. Requested late check out again at 8:30 AM with no response. Called the hotel directly to find out that the office doesn't open until 10 AM which is check out. the call center said they would send the request to our front desk so they could let us know at 10 AM if we need to get out at 10 AM. We received the call at 10:30 AM. We were told there was a breakfast for guests from 8 AM to noon so I'm curious how that is set out for their guests, if the office is closed. Breakfast consisted of bananas, cereal, milk and juice. No coffee, tea, creamer, etc. The pool and jacuzzi are under renovation, yet we paid a resort fee. this hotel does not have the staffing to run it, and they were not prepared to have guests.

Make sure you’re booking the right location. Hilltop is the best.

We only stayed one night during "not peak season" so was a very reasonable rate for Steamboat Springs! The 2 bdrm/2 bath condo was newly remodeled and very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The pictures look "bare-bones" but the living room had a colorful area rug and pillow added which helped a lot. It was quiet. Hopefully the exterior will be improved to match the nicely-done interior remodels! Would definitely stay here again.

There was nobody to check us in. They must have gone home. We had to use an old phone that you couldn’t hear anything on and talk to an operator in some other state. Whom even knows who. Didn’t have any physical face to face with someone. No run down of the property. Didn’t even show my id or card to check in. There was a line of people waiting also. Tit was just like pull up and figure out what to do on your own.

bed was comfy. Kitchen was stocked with everything. Free coffee for pot. Newly remodeled and clean. Location is perfect. gym was in their other property but only 5 minute drive. No elevator so be prepared.

It was a good stay. The kitchen has only the bare minimum and could use some more utensils. The entrance coul use a little rug for when you come in with wet boots from skiing. the management should encourage guests to keep their dogs from barking.
