The Fold Hotels Steamboat Springs

The unit was very spacious for the price, so it was a great value. My view from the private balcony was also beautiful. When I walked in it smelled like someone had cooked eggs for breakfast and the room hadn’t entirely aired out. The kitchen was clean, but I imagine this is because the fabric on the dining chairs and the couches absorb some of that odor. I would suggest freshening it up with fabric spray. I was bummed that the amenities like hot tubs were not open at the location I stayed at due to renovations. In all fairness I think I came during “off season.” Other than that it was lovely. Great location, great service at the front desk. Legacy commercial on tv was entertaining.

Best value for what you pay, what you get, and the service to expect

I had a 1 bedroom suite with full kitchen. The suite was fully newly renovated, very spacious and clean. For a solo traveller with a dog, this was a perfect getaway out of the rain for a couple nights on our road trip.

Rejuvenated interiors are VERY nice. Comfortable room. Pleasant staff.

Remodeling and what changes they have made are great. Breakfast grab and go not so good and pool is at a totally different/you have to drive to location.

Shocking lack of amenities such as no lamps, just horrendous bright overhead lighting, not enough linens for foldout, both TVs not set up for reception, on and on...

The suite was amazing, especially at the price. The after-6pm check-in over the phone was a little awkward; also, it would have been nice to have breakfast available earlier, but there is a McDonalds close by. Overall we were very happy.

The Suite was spotless and comfortable, the common are was clean and adorable. Very comfortable space for a very affordable price.

It’s a fantastic place to stay. Very clean, welcoming, and charming. The staff was wonderful and accommodating as well.

Great deal for the price. The 2 bedroom unit was about the same price as a basic hotel room anywhere else, and 5x the size. That more than made up for its downsides: all the property amenities were closed/under construction, there was a red stain on our sheets, no wash cloths in the bathrooms, difficult parking (lot filled up), and an early checkout time. All of that would have bothered me a lot more if we were paying for a hotel. But for such an affordable big 2 bed 2 bath apt in steamboat, I can't fault them any more than 1 star for any of that. Solid 4/5 star experience.
