"Booking.com offers poor communication that cost me my day off and a much needed vacation."

Nothing.

It had been closed since January 2026. Rather than letting me know and saving me a trip on a day I took off from work, you sent me a confirmation email. This was bad business and I will not be using booking.com again.

The hotel was clean, and housekeeping does a good job. The location near the beach is also convenient.

The indoor pool is in very poor condition and clearly requires renovation, which is why we did not use it. Additionally, the information on Booking was inaccurate — it stated that the pool was open until 10:00 PM (22:00), but upon arrival it was already closed, as the actual hours were until 4:00 PM.

"You get what you pay for"

The one staff member was super nice when we had to complain about some things not working. It was close to the beach and right next to a really nice restaurant. The price of the rooms were affordable- however, it is obvious no money is being put back into the facility to update/make nicer/ fix blemishes.

The air didn't work in our room. The mattress was covered in black mold on the bottom. We asked for a different room. The air didn't work originally in that second room either. We requested to have it fixed. It was fixed the next day. My sister's fridge wasn't working and she needed it fixed. They did that immediately. The water pressure was poor on the 8th floor. Parking was tricky- limited spots available.

Close to the beach and Atlantic city.

The rooms are very old. Windows were nailed shut. Ceiling tiles were popped out or missing. The amount of money charged did not seem fair for what the hotel is and what they offer. Being right by the beach isn't a reason for everything else at the hotel to be garbage.
