I like everything about the property. The owner was very kind. The place was very nice and peaceful

Nice driver which I went on a tour with. Location was okay, near enough to resteraunt and market.

Not great for walking as only ones small roads, with packs of dogs. Hotel didn't provide water, but luckily store was close enough.

Before arriving at the hotel I got contacted by the hotel for a pick-up. At first they made it sound like they do it for free (which they for sure don’t have to), but then it became clear that they wanted to sell the transfer. After arriving at the hotel, even before checking in, I got spammed with information regarding different tours. The next day I booked a snorkeling independently of them and the owner reacted somehow pissed off, because I did not book it through him. For the drives to the city and back, the owner tried to change prices from time to time. Also, for a daily tour by his driver he tried to raise the price after having agreed to another one. We got the impression the owner was trying to take advantage of us. As I wanted to have a drive to a massage salon in the center (where I already had an appointment), he tried to pressure me to take a massage by his friend instead at his hotel. It is okay that they want to help each other to get customers, but this way is pretty out of line. The first room I was given on the ground floor smelled musty and damp, which was very unpleasant. Later I moved to another room on the second floor, which was fine. They even asked for a very good review just for that, and it wasn’t the only time they were begging for a good review after doing something that should be normal in any hotel. The breakfast was not good, especially for the coffee — they did not even offer cow milk but some kind of condensed milk cream tasting chemically (I asked for it, they apologized but getting milk even at Nusa Penida is not difficult). As already some other reviews stated, they only offer small water bottles at your check-in, although you should not even brush your teeth with tap water. There weren’t any pool towels, so I had to take the ones from my room, where there were already too few. Later, the owner started asking about the towels and counting them, which felt completely out of line.
