La Clave Hostel

This hostel was one of my favourites so far in South America, Monica and Pedro were so friendly and helpful and made me feel completely at home. The hostel has various shares spaces including a roof terrace so it's good for meeting people of just relaxing by yourself or whatever you feel like. The location is great too, it's in a quiet and safe neighbourhood (although you always need to take care in Cali), about a 5 minute walk from lots of places to eat and drink and about a 10 or 15 mins walk from San Antonio.

Good and safe location, Monica is very friendly. The shared bathroom with hot water was clean. The breakfast was fresh and nice (eggs, arepa, fruit, juice and coffee). Good WiFi and we were able to leave our luggage for free before and after check in.

The hostel has a lovely, cozy atmosphere thanks to Monica, who is the owner and who manages everything on her own (I don't know when this woman sleeps and if she actually does it :)) The building itself is just perfect for being a hostel: lots of space, and a beautiful terrace with a nice view. The toilets are always extremely clean and the mattress is comfy.

The private room was kind of uncomfortable, window just to the corridor and accoustically not really shielded. The owner is ok, but dont expect the most friendly warm welcoming from her.
