Century Plaza Hotel

First time to stay in Century, it is OK from location point of view. Close to Shenzhen train station as well Luoho Metro station. Quite close to many choices of restaurants and small shops. Over all it is OK.

I feel the stay is not very comfortable. The odor of some kind of smell really feel bad.

I have always stayed at this hotel when I am in Shenzhen. It is in the shopping/happening district of the city and close to the border and train station. The staff friendliness and helpfulness can't be beat and the gym is actually very good. The rooms could use a bit of an upgrade but they are clean and comfortable. No complaints on my last stay.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It's walking distance to Luohu Station for easy access to Hong Kong and train station. Line 9 and line 1 subway entrances are only a short walk. There are lots of restaurants and shopping very close to the hotel, including Walmart, Macdonalds, Pizza Hut, and Starbucks.

The front Desk officer not very helpful and very rude. I’ve pre booked and paid my hotel booking through Hotel.com. However during my check in, the front desk staff unable to find my booking. I requested for assistance to check with hotel.com but they rejected and asked me to call hotel.com directly. I have to call myself using oversea call to verify with hotel.com to confirm my booking and inform the staff. The whole process took me another 1 hour plus In order to get my room. My time and additional charges wasted just because the staff doesn’t want to assist.
